APSU Admissions

Admission into the various courses offered by APSU is done purely on merit basis based on the results of the qualifying exam. Interested students are required to apply for the courses online by visiting the official website. The admission procedure starts in August for both undergraduate and postgraduate as well as PhD programs.

For Undergraduate Courses

  • Admission to BBA is completely based on marks scored in Class 12
  • Admission to BCA is based on marks scored in the qualifying exam

For Postgraduate Courses

  • Admission to most postgraduate courses is based on marks scored during under graduation
  • Admission to M.P.Ed is done based on NCTE norms
  • Admission to MBA is based on CMAT score

MBA aspirants must note that the list of selected candidates will be published online by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh.

APSU Facilities

  • Separate Hostel for Boys and Girls: The University provides good hostel accommodation for all its students with all required amenities.
  • Gym: The built-in gymnasium is equipped with modern tools and machines to make sure students take care of their fitness. It is well maintained and is cleaned regularly. Students have to apply for membership to the gym by paying a very nominal amount.
  • Convenience Store: This on-campus store provides students with all basic necessities so that they can shop for their daily needs without having to leave the campus. It also has a provision for photocopying and print outs and is well stocked with stationery as well as grocery items.
  • Library: The central library has a huge database of books, magazines, journals, newspapers and other material which can be accessed by students and scholars. There are over 75,000 books in the library covering various topics and areas of study. The library is open from Monday to Saturday and can hold around 100 people at a time.
  • Guest Room/Waiting Room: These rooms have been designed for guests visiting the campus. They are usually allotted to parents of students who wish to stay for a few days, or guest speakers, event participants and other important guests. These rooms have to be booked beforehand depending upon their availability. Each room is well equipped and has an AC along with other basic necessities.
  • Sports grounds and stadium: The college campus boasts of well-maintained sports grounds and a massive stadium for students to play and practise many indoor and outdoor games. Many competitions take place on campus for various sports such as cricket, volleyball, basketball etc. The university also hosts an annual sports competition.
  • Medical Dispensary: Good health is of utmost importance for all students and for that reason there is a medical dispensary within the campus. The well-trained staff is always available when students require first aid or any kind of medical attention.
  • Auditorium: The auditorium has huge housing space and is perfect for organizing events such as guest lectures, workshops, cultural shows and seminars. It is equipped with modern audio-visual and light fittings.
  • Laboratories:The labs have been designed to provide students with a hands-on experience of their subjects. Each department has a lab of its own which promotes a practical approach of young minds.
