YCMOU UG Admission 2026

YCMOU gives admission to BA, B.Com, and BBA on the basis of Class 12 marks. Students do not need an interview or entrance exam for these three programmes. BCA admission, however, is through the YCMOU CET.

YCMOU B.Ed admission is based on a CET score. Students who miss one admission cycle should track the next session notice, with the January 2027 session mentioned as the next option. The course is a 2-year teacher education programme in distance mode.

Students with in-service teaching experience and NCTE-approved diploma backgrounds can also qualify under special provisions.

YCMOU selects B.Ed applicants through the CET score and earlier academic marks. The online MCQ test checks aptitude, teaching aptitude, and general awareness. Qualified students then complete document verification before seat allotment.

Note: The B.Ed application fee is INR 1,000 for general category students and INR 500 for reserved category students. This fee is higher than the standard UG registration fee of INR 200, is non-refundable, and must be paid while submitting the form.

• Go to ycmou.ac.in and open the Admissions section.
• Read the prospectus for the UG programme you want to apply for.
• Create a login with your email ID and mobile number.
• Enter your personal and academic details in the online form.
• Upload Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, along with category certificate if needed, photo, and government ID proof.
• Pay the registration fee of INR 200 online.
• Keep the acknowledgment number safely for later communication.

How to Apply for B.Ed at YCMOU?

• Visit ycmou.ac.in and open the B.Ed admission section.
• Register with an email ID and mobile number.
• Fill in personal and academic details in the form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 for general category or INR 500 for reserved category.
• Upload graduation certificates, marksheets, category certificate, teaching experience proof if applicable, photo, and ID proof.

YCMOU PG Admission 2026

YCMOU offers MBA, MCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MLIS, MJMC, and other PG options. MBA and MCA use entrance scores, while MA, M.Com, M.Sc, and most other PG programmes are merit-based. The distance MBA runs for 2 years and includes Finance, Marketing, and HR specialisations.

YCMOU MBA Selection Criteria 2026

• YCMOU prepares the MBA merit list from entrance scores. Students can apply through the YCMOU MBA CET route or the MAH MBA CET 2026 route.
• The YCMOU MBA CET has 100 MCQs for a total of 200 marks. The sections are Reading Comprehension (12 marks), Verbal Ability (20 marks), Numerical Ability (16 marks), Business Data Interpretation (24 marks), Business Application (16 marks), and Business Judgment (12 marks). Each correct answer carries 2 marks.
• Students with a valid MAH MBA CET 2026 score can apply directly and do not have to appear for the YCMOU CET.
• After the result, YCMOU releases a merit list. Shortlisted students must complete document verification at the university or a designated centre.

Note: Work experience is not required for YCMOU MBA admission. Fresh graduates can apply directly.

• Appear for the YCMOU MBA CET if applying through the CET route.

YCMOU Certificate and Diploma Admission 2026

YCMOU offers more than 60 programmes at UG, PG, diploma, and certificate levels. The university also runs several diploma and certificate courses in different fields. Students should check the course prospectus for the eligibility and admission method of the programme they choose.

YCMOU Scholarships

YCMOU follows scholarship schemes offered by the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra. Eligible reserved category students should apply after their admission is confirmed.

• Post Matric Scholarship for SBC (Special Backward Class) candidates from Maharashtra.
