• Reserved category applicants receive a relaxation of 5 percentage points in the minimum eligibility marks.
• The BA LLB programme on the MGSU campus has 60 seats. Students should apply early because demand is high.

Note: BA LLB (5-year) at MGSU Bikaner campus needs 48% in Class 12. Students use the same portal used for other UG courses. Since the number of law seats is limited, students should submit the form early and follow the merit list closely before vacancy rounds end.

2. Create a registration using your mobile number and email ID.
3. Enter your personal details and Class 12 academic details in the form.

MGSU B.Ed Admission 2026

B.Ed seats in MGSU-affiliated colleges are allotted through Rajasthan PTET 2026 counselling. MGSU does not hold a separate B.Ed admission process, and the PTET authority manages the seat allotment.

The Rajasthan PTET counselling authority handles B.Ed allotment for colleges affiliated with MGSU. Students do not appear for any separate MGSU test for this course.

• Students must qualify the PTET 2026 exam before they can register for counselling.
• The counselling rank depends on the PTET score and the student's category.
• The counselling registration fee is INR 5,000, and it becomes non-refundable once a college is allotted.
• Students must pay an admission fee of INR 22,000 at the allotted college during reporting.

Key insight: PTET counselling is held in more than one round. A student who gets a college in the first round but wants a better option may take part in the next round. The INR 5,000 counselling fee becomes non-refundable only after the seat is confirmed through physical verification.

How to Apply for B.Ed at MGSU?

1. Qualify the Rajasthan PTET 2026 exam held on June 14, 2026.
2. Check your PTET result and rank on the official PTET portal.
3. Register for counselling at ptetvmoukota2026.in between July 4 and July 15, 2026.
4. Pay the counselling registration fee of INR 5,000 online.
5. Fill in your preferred MGSU-affiliated B.Ed colleges in order of choice.
6. Download the seat allotment letter after July 21, 2026.
7. Report to the allotted college with original documents and pay the admission fee.

MGSU admits students to PG programmes such as MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, LLB (3-year), and LLM. Selection is made through graduation marks, and the university does not conduct an entrance exam for any PG course.

MGSU Scholarships 2026

MGSU students and students of its affiliated colleges can apply for state and central scholarship schemes. Applications are filled online through the National Scholarship Portal, scholarships.gov.in, or through the Rajasthan state scholarship portal.

• Post-Matric Scholarship for SC, ST, and OBC: This scheme includes tuition fee support and a maintenance allowance. Eligibility depends on the annual family income limit fixed under Rajasthan government rules.
• Rajasthan Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship: This scholarship is for students who are placed in the top 1 lakh in the Rajasthan board Class 12 examination. It gives financial help for higher education in state universities.
• Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS): Students in the top 20 percentile of Class 12 board results can apply. It gives INR 10,000 per year to undergraduate students and INR 20,000 per year to postgraduate students.
• UGC and CSIR Research Fellowships: PhD scholars at MGSU can get these fellowships through the National Eligibility Test (NET) and Joint Entrance Test (JET) routes.
