Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, also known as MSDU Ajmer, was established in 1987. It is a UGC-recognised university and has also been accredited with a ‘B++’ grade by NAAC. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University has secured the 113th rank in the University category by NIRF in 2023. MDSU admissions to its UG, PG, diploma, and doctoral courses are merit-based. However, it also accepts the scores of entrance exams conducted at the national level. For PhD, admission is based on the entrance test conducted by MDSU. The online MDSU admissions 2024 are open to UG, Diploma and Certificate courses for the academic year 2024. Candidates who are interested can apply by visiting the official MSDU college website.

MSDU Ajmer comprises 13 schools and 436 affiliated colleges that offer Postgraduate, MPhil, PhD and diploma/ PG diploma/ certificate courses in the fields of Commerce, Economics, Management, and other streams. The university also offers several UG courses, such as BSc, BA, BEd, BCA and many more.

MDSU Facilities

MDSU campus is located over a 786 acres of land where students are provided with residential facilities, hostel, medical facility, library, ctusports infrastructure, cafeteria, Bank/ ATM, Convience Stores, Gym and other facilities.

Hostel: MDSU’s boys hostel is called Nachiketa Boys Hostel where students get single bedded rooms. The hostel has mess facility, common rooms, reading rooms, TV room and sports facilities. The Girl’s hostels at MDSU Ajmer is called Gargi Hostel and consists of double bedded rooms. 

Library:  The central library of MDSU is  named as Saraswat Bhawan. It has wide collection of course and research reated books.

Sports: Some of the MDSU sports facilities include athletics, basketball, badminton, boxing, and cricket, among others. Students can participate in the different sports events organized by the university.
