Eligibility Criteria For MDSU PhD Admission 2025

The following are the key eligibility criteria for MDSU PhD admission:-

  • Completed 1-year master's degree after 4-year bachelor's degree or 2-year master's degree after 3-year bachelor's degree.
  • 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade points in qualifying master's degree.
  • Equivalent qualifications from accredited institutions recognized by the home country's statutory authority.
  • 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade points in the M.Phil program.
  • 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, EWS, and other special categories.
  • All degrees must be from institutions accredited by authorized assessment and accreditation agencies.

The PhD program lasts a minimum of three years and a maximum of six years, with an additional two years through re-registration, totalling eight years, or ten years for female scholars and persons with disabilities, including maternity leave up to 240 days.
