Established in 2007, Jaipur National University is NAAC accredited, in addition to being recognised by the UGC, NCTE, BCI, INC, PCI, NMC and ICAR. The university offers a variety of courses in diverse streams like Engineering, Management, Computers, Social Sciences, Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Law, Media, and Education. Overall, India Today ranked the university at 39 in 2024.

JNU Jaipur BTech program, offered in 8 specialisations, is a popular course. For admission to the four-year program, the candidate should have completed 10+2 with 50%, in Science. Selection of eligible candidates is based on an Entrance Test, followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Mains can get direct admissions based on their JEE Main Scores. The total fees for BTech at JNU Jaipur is Rs 4.36 Lakhs to Rs 5.59 Lakhs.
Admissions to BTech are also offered via Lateral Entry. To be eligible, the candidate should have cleared either a Diploma or a BSc, with 45%.

The university also grants scholarships/fellowships to research assistants and scholars. Needy students are considered for scholarships and freeships, both. The university has also collaborated with various banks across the country for educational loans.

JNU Jaipur Placement Drive was excellent with more than 6500 companies participating in 2024. INR 27 LPA was the highest CTC offered, while INR 5.5 LPA is the average CTC recorded. 250+ companies recruited a young task force from here, including Deloitte, Decathlon, Wipro, Infosys, Justdial, Continuum, EY, Fexle, LG, Indian Army, Indian Navy and NIIT.
