Amity University Jaipur Admission Process

Amity University Jaipur admits students through entrance scores, direct merit, and programme-specific selection rounds. Applicants must first complete the online form, pay the INR 1,500 non-refundable application fee, upload documents, and then follow the selection steps for their course.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, students need 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with at least 60% aggregate marks. Students scoring 80% or above in Class XII from CBSE, ISC, or state boards can get direct admission without an entrance test. Other applicants must qualify through AMCAT, JEE Main, CUET, or Rajasthan JET.

The B.Tech process includes online application, shortlisting through entrance score or merit, personal interview for selected specialisations, document checking, fee payment, and final admission confirmation. For B.Tech CSE, the usual JEE Main cutoff for the general category falls in the 90 to 95 percentile range.

MBA Admission

MBA applicants must hold a recognised undergraduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. They can apply with CAT, MAT, GMAT, or GRE scores, or they can take Amity AIMAT. The final selection is based on entrance score shortlisting, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The usual CAT cutoff for MBA is 75 percentile for the general category.

Law Programmes (BA+LLB, BCom+LLB, BBA+LLB)

For integrated law courses, students need 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks. Admission is based on CLAT rank, CUET UG score, or institutional merit. As per Bar Council of India guidelines, applicants must be below 20 years of age at admission, while the limit is 22 years for SC/ST applicants.

B.Arch Admission

B.Arch applicants must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level and must have at least 50% aggregate marks. A valid NATA score or JEE Main Paper 2 score is needed. The Council of Architecture requires NATA for B.Arch admission in India.

PG and PhD Admission

M.Tech and M.Sc admission requires a relevant undergraduate degree with 55% aggregate marks. For most M.Tech specialisations, a valid GATE score is also needed. PhD selection is through ARAT or valid UGC NET/JRF/GATE scores, followed by an interview.
