PCE is the prime institute of PGC to be delegated by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation). Several initiatives and innovative actions are taken by the internal teams and faculty members in order to uplift the reputation of the institute and constantly work on the improvement of infrastructure amenities.   • Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)- WISE is basically a technological platform whose prime motive is to expand the field in which women are the main representatives. Several workshops, symposiums, seminars, training and social programs are conducted as well as campaigns are organized to let the women excel in their fields.
  • Tutor System- A well-trained tutor is assigned to students who guide them in the right direction and help them to learn new things efficiently so that they can make the right decision for their career. Poornima College of Engineering Admission

The Centre of Electronic Governance will be conducting REAP 2022 to offer admission into BTech courses. Candidates must qualify JEE Main 2022 exam & class 12th. Aspirants seeking admission through REAP 2022 must fill out the application form. 

  • Three rounds of REAP 2022 counselling will be conducted along with a special round.
  • The first round of counselling will be conducted for the candidates who do not belong to Rajasthan, Ex-servicemen and PwD candidates.
  • 2nd round of counselling will be conducted for candidates who are residents of Rajasthan.
  • If the seat remains vacant then the 3rd round of counselling will be conducted.
  •  Furthermore, If seats remain empty even after 3rd round of counselling, then a special round of counselling will be conducted.

Poornima College of Engineering Scholarships

PCE offer scholarship to the candidates based on the class 12th marks. If a candidate who is availing any kind of scholarship/ financial assistance from Government/Semi Government or any other private organizations for educational support is not entitled to PCE Scholarship.

  • Candidates who choose ECE, Mechanical Engineering & Electrical engineering branch are eligible to avail of scholarships offered by PCE.

Ques. How good is it to study at PCE Jaipur?

Ans. To be frank, the academic level of PCE is far better than other private colleges of Jaipur. The lecturers keep themselves engaged in teaching the students proficiently for their good academic result. 75% attendance is stringently mandatory for the students. The institute also provides a technical platform on which students can showcase their talents and enhance their soft skills. Most importantly, it is one of the top colleges which provided maximum number of placements in past years.

Ques. What are the major amenities provided by PCE?

Ans. PCE also provides numerous amenities which can be easily accessed by the students in case of need. Some of those best amenities are:

  • Computing resources- A full time 50 Mbps WiFi with over 300 access points and 24 hours power backup can be accessed on 2000+ workstations.
  • Auditorium-‘Arbuda Convention Center’ is a well designed auditorium of the campus in which symposiums, conferences, seminars, debates and other events are conducted. It is fully air conditioned and is large enough to accommodate a huge number of attendees, staff and guests.

Ques. Are B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral courses different?

Ans. Yes both B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral are two different courses offered by PCE. B.Tech admissions take place in first year for freshers while B.Tech Lateral program is for B.Sc. and Diploma graduates where they can get direct admission in B.Tech program in 2nd year (3rd semester).

Ques. Is PCE better than Poornima University?

Ans. Basically, both PCE and PU are a part of the prestigious PGC. The mere difference is that PU is an individualistic body and PCE is RTU affiliated. Both are equally perfect institutes to pursue engineering and better in their respective aspects. However, if anyone wants to do B.Tech from CS, then PU will be a better option. But that doesn’t mean PCE will not be a good choice.

Ques. Does PCE have any Anti-Ragging rule?

Ans. Yes, of course. Ragging is a callous act and is totally prohibited in the college premises. In case of ragging, the Anti-Ragging squad of the institution takes stringent actions against the culprit and not only cancels his/her admission but also charges against him/her. Ques. Is there any hostel facility in campus?

Ans. Yes, the campus has 9 hostels for boys in which 970 boys can be accommodated and 6 hostels for girls in which 670 girls can be accommodated. The rooms are double seaters and are well furnished with proper air conditioning. Hostel premises also offer a well maintained hygienic dining amenity, water cooler, WiFi, laundry facility and parking space as well.
