  • For MA admission, candidates must hold Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit scored by the candidate in the entrance exam and qualifying examination. Further, a merit list will be prepared where 50% preference will be given to marks secured in the qualifying examination and 50% to the entrance exam. Candidate should score a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance exam in order to be eligible.
  • Ph.D. and M.Phil admissions are based on the candidate's score in the University entrance test and qualifying examination. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the previous Master’s / M.Phil degree to be eligible for admission.

Malayalam University offers a student exchange program in collaboration with Tubingen University, Germany. The program was initiated in 2015 and follows a pattern where 3 students from Tubingen University, Germany are selected and they spend the time here in Malayalam University while 3 students from Malayalam University are selected to spend the time at Tubingen University, Germany.
