My college life in dehradun

What I Liked

Campus is good ground is good and infrastructure is also good its kind a fun to roam around campus
Campus is in dehradun haarawala which a quiet place you can enjoy your college life here.

What I didn’t like

The labs are in pretty bad shape their no lab assistant and shortage of 4 class worker
Arrogance of office worker is soo high they think that they are headmaster here

Placement Experience:

After completing the course with the intership anyone can join a hospital as a medical residency as a RMO and college does not provide any placement to any students you have to hospital. the salary is not a factor it just depends on how much you have knowledge how much put effort in your study and intership

Internships Opportunities:

Their is 1 year compulsory intership which is divided into 2half of 6 month . Each 6 month you have to do intership in ayurvedic hospital and 6 month in district hospital and degree is given after the complition of intership

Medical Pros And Cons

What I Liked

College Faculty Members Are Well Knowledgeable And Approachable.
College Infrastructure Is Amazing And Well Maintained

What I didn’t like

Exams Are Not Held Timely And You Can Never Predict.
There Is So Much Of College Politics Involved.

Placement Experience:

Placements Are Not Being Provided By The College.You Have To Give AIAPGET Exam To Get Admission In The PG College. After That If You Get More Than The Required Cutoff Then You Will Get Almost 80000 Per Month By The Government While Practicing In The PG College You Are Selected In For 3 Years.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships Are Being Provided By The College Only After The Completion Of The Course. You Have Do Internship In The Same College For 6 Months And Another 6 Months Outside The College Campus Of Your Own Choice.15000 Stipend Is Provided Per MonthBy Government.

What I Liked

Gyne department faculties are very nice
Sports week occur every year in enjoy that time most

What I didn’t like

Some faculties are very rude and they not take class
College not support student for any visit like postmartum visit

Placement Experience:

After BAMS there is an exam for entrance into Post graduation called AIAPGET and also vacancies come for Ayurved medical officers or you can do a job in a private hospital but After graduation job opportunities is very less

Internships Opportunities:

BAMS is of 5.5 years with 4.5 years for academics and one year for internship. In a one-year internship plan, 6 months internship is in my own College for Ayurved and 6 months in any other hospital for allopaths.

What I Liked

The Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College has hostel facilities
It Is A Very Peaceful And Clean Environment At Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College.

What I didn’t like

Faculty members are sometimes in short supply.
The infrastructure is below average. Campus is small.

Placement Experience:

The Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College offers internships in its hospital, which is 2-3 km away from the college. The internship begins after 4th year. There is no stipend offered to students during the internship period.

What I Liked

the infrastructure is traditional and still growing.
the faculty members are supportive , friendly and well qualified.

What I didn’t like

the campus facilities must be upgraded and should be acc to the needs of people
the fests must be organised more regularly and on a higher level.

Placement Experience:

there is no criteria of placement in our campus and in our field . the students should themselves apply for pvt jobs off campus. my plans after getting degree is to open the pvt clinic or to opt for higher studies .

Internships Opportunities:

the college provide 1 year of compulsory internship . during the internship the faculty provide medical practice in the college campus.the students get paid a fixed amount of stipend . the stipened are paid to the students every 6months.
