AISECT University is a private university established in 2016 under the AISECT University Act, Jharkhand. Located in Hazaribagh, it is recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE, BCI, PCI and NCTE.

AISECT University Admission Process

Admissions are conducted through direct merit using Class XII or graduation marks, with online applications accepted through the university portal and at the Hazaribagh admission office.

MBA and BBA

MBA applicants need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. CAT, MAT, CMAT and JCECE(P) scores are preferred, and direct admission may be available after entrance-based shortlisting. BBA admission is based on Class XII merit and does not require a separate entrance examination.

Law Programmes

BA LLB requires Class XII with 45% in any stream, while LLB requires a bachelor's degree. Admission follows BCI norms and the university merit list. CLAT is accepted but is not compulsory for direct-admission rounds.

Other Programmes

BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, M.Sc, MCA and M.Com use direct merit based on Class XII or graduation aggregate. No entrance examination is required.

AISECT University Campus and Infrastructure

The university's 50-acre Hazaribagh campus is located about 95 km from Ranchi and is connected through NH-100. Road and rail access is available from Ranchi and Dhanbad.
