Ans: No, IKGPTU does not allow admission through management quota. There is no Management Quota at IKGPTU. All seats are assigned solely on the basis of merit.

IKGPTU offers B.Tech courses in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering in full time mode. The details of the course are:

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility for admission to the B.Tech course offered at IKGPTU is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science or any other subject from a recognised Board.
Candidates who have passed Diploma from any recognised Institute or a two-year certificate from SLIET, Punjab are also eligible for admission.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected for the B.Tech course offered at IKGPTU based on their performance in JEE Main examination. Candidates with a permanent residence of Punjab can avail home state quota during admission.

Candidates who have passed Technical Diploma from any recognised Institute are also eligible for admission.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected for the BCA course offered at IKGPTU based on their performance in the last qualifying examination. Candidates with a permanent residence of Punjab can avail home state quota during admission. Further, the reservation quota are according to the norms of the Government of India.

Ikg ptu Mohali review

What I Liked

Good faculty members always there to support us
And small campus so that there is very good interactions between seniors and juniors

What I didn’t like

Location of the campus is not very good as situated in the industrial area so there is sort of high pollution
And of campus size is small so there is not very good fests and functions happing around very much due to short of campus space

Remarks:

There is a small campus so the interactions between the seniors and juniors are very good enough . There are plenty of interactive sessions goes every week in the egd hall so that the students can improve there speaking skills through it . There is a simple Punjab state counselling to take admission in this institution

Quite honest

What I Liked

Small campus where students are more interactive with staff members and faculty members
Less number of students which means you get to know each other better

What I didn’t like

It's a small campus so activities like night fests doesn't happen
Located in an industrial area so it's surrounding is quite polluted in my pov

Remarks:

This college has a good name in Punjab And it's a state government college so basically a government college is quite good compared to a private college And moreover a small campus lets you explore and interact with more people.

Remarks:

Group discussion with friends, he says college is a very good opportunity to explore ourselves. So I decided to join this college and in college, my experience is very good and my studies are also good and the teacher teaches so well.

What I Liked

Infrastructure of this college is quite good and the campus area is very wide
Department of this colleges quite good they give opportunity to every student

What I didn’t like

Placement cell can be improved a lot they should care about placements of students
Number of professors in the college is very less the students are very much

Remarks:

There were no such entrance exams in the college every student would get easily admission through direct admission. I got here because it was a state government college and the fees were also quite affordable.

How can I transfer credits from another university to KU?

The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) can be used for transferring credits to Kashmir University from another university. The following procedures can be followed in order to transfer credits between universities:
Submit an application to your desired university as a transfer student.
To find out if you will be admitted to the course, get in touch with the university you wish to transfer to.
Keep your exam scores and other documents close at hand.
Obtain a confirmation from the new university to present to your existing university if you wish to transfer within a year.
Access the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal by creating an online account.
Give the university and any other educational establishments where you hope to obtain credits your 12-digit ABC Account ID.
Your former school's DSO will transfer your SEVIS record to the new school after you are admitted.
