National Sports University Imphal offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Sports Coaching, Sports Sciences, and Physical Education in various disciplines. National Sports University admission is purely based on the candidate’s merit and the marks obtained in the admission test. Candidates must visit the official website of the university to apply for admission.

  • At the UG level, admission to B.Sc. in Sports Coaching and BPES is done purely on the basis of merit, based on the marks obtained in the Admission Test (Written Test, Sports Proficiency Test, and Physical Fitness Test). To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 exams and shall be above 17 years of age.
  • Admission to postgraduate courses is done purely on merit, based on the marks obtained in the entrance test comprising of the Written Test, Sports Proficiency Test, and Interview. Candidates must secure a minimum overall 50% mark to qualify the entrance test. Candidates shall also be required to undergo a Medical Test conducted by the University. To be eligible for admission, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree/Diploma-holder in the respective field with a minimum of 50% marks. Also, participation in Sports at State/District/College Level is mandatory.
