KNRUHS UG Admission 2026

KNRUHS UG admission includes MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, BUMS, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and BPT. Telangana has more than 6,200 MBBS seats and 2,745 BDS seats in government and private colleges. KNRUHS completes registration, certificate verification, web options and allotment online.

KNRUHS MBBS and BDS Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students must qualify NEET UG 2026 before joining KNRUHS MBBS or BDS counselling. Eligibility also depends on the minimum PCB, which means Physics, Chemistry and Biology, aggregate for each category.

KNRUHS MBBS and BDS Selection Criteria 2026

KNRUHS allots MBBS and BDS seats by NEET UG rank within the applicable reservation category. The university prepares separate state merit lists for Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota seats.

Reservation for Telangana MBBS and BDS state quota seats is given below:

• SC: 15%
• ST: 6%
• Backward Classes (BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E combined): 29%
• EWS: 10%
• Women: 33.33% horizontal reservation within each social category
• PWD: 5% horizontal reservation
• CAP: 1%; NCC: 1%; Sports: 0.5%; Police Martyrs’ Children: 0.25%

For MBBS, the state quota tuition fee is INR 10,000 per year in government colleges and INR 60,000 per year in private colleges. Private college management quota seats cost INR 11 to 14 lakhs per year.

Key insight: Telangana has five BC sub-categories: BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D and BC-E. Students must upload the correct sub-category certificate during verification. If the certificate is wrong or missing, the BC reservation benefit is not given for that round.

How to Apply for MBBS and BDS at KNRUHS?

• Step 1: Register at knruhs.telangana.gov.in and pay the application fee online.
• Step 2: Upload the NEET UG 2026 scorecard, Class 10 and Class 12 certificates, Telangana study certificate from Class 6 to Class 12, caste certificate if needed, Aadhaar card and photographs.
• Step 3: Finish online certificate verification as scheduled by KNRUHS.
• Step 4: Check the merit list and verify your rank and category.
• Step 5: Fill and lock web options for colleges within the given window.
• Step 6: Pay the non-refundable INR 12,000 university fee online to accept the seat.
• Step 7: Download the Provisional Allotment Order and report to the allotted college with original documents.

KNRUHS AYUSH and Allied Health Sciences Admission 2026

KNRUHS conducts admission for AYUSH UG courses such as BAMS, BHMS, BNYS and BUMS. It also manages counselling for allied health courses, including B.Sc Nursing and BPT. NEET UG 2026 is required for AYUSH UG admission, while B.Sc Nursing and BPT admission is based on the 10+2 PCB aggregate.

KNRUHS AYUSH and Allied Health Selection Criteria 2026

AYUSH UG seats follow NEET UG merit and the same Telangana reservation system used for MBBS. For B.Sc Nursing, KNRUHS uses the 10+2 PCB score and does not require NEET.

• B.Sc Nursing tuition fee is INR 85,000 per year, subject to revision by the Telangana government.
• B.Sc Nursing registration fee is INR 2,000 for OC and BC students and INR 1,600 for SC and ST students.
• Telangana domicile rules and the state reservation matrix apply to AYUSH state quota seats.
• NEET UG qualification is also required for AYUSH management quota seats. Direct admission without NEET is not allowed.

How to Apply for AYUSH and Allied Health Programmes at KNRUHS?

• Step 1: Go to knruhs.telangana.gov.in and submit the online form for the course during its registration window.
• Step 2: Upload 10+2 marksheets, the NEET UG 2026 scorecard for AYUSH, Telangana domicile or study certificate, and caste certificate if applicable.
• Step 3: Complete online certificate verification in the scheduled period.
• Step 4: Check the merit list and submit web options for preferred colleges.
• Step 5: Pay the university fee after allotment and join the allotted college with original documents.

KNRUHS PG Medical Admission 2026

KNRUHS conducts Telangana PG medical counselling through tspgmed.tsche.in. State quota covers 50% of MD, MS and MDS seats, while MCC allots the other 50% All-India Quota seats through mcc.nic.in.

KNRUHS PG Medical Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students need a recognised UG medical or dental degree and the correct PG entrance score. Registration with the State Medical Council or State Dental Council is compulsory before applying.

KNRUHS PG Medical Selection Criteria 2026

KNRUHS uses NEET PG or NEET MDS rank for state quota PG allotment. Separate merit lists are prepared for service and non-service students.

• State Quota (Competent Authority): 50% of PG seats are open only to Telangana-domicile students.
• All-India Quota: MCC allots the remaining 50% seats at mcc.nic.in for NEET PG qualified students from across India.
• Management Quota: KNRUHS runs separate online counselling for PG seats in private colleges. NEET PG or NEET MDS qualification is compulsory.
• The registration fee is INR 10,000 for OC and BC students and INR 8,000 for SC and ST students.
• Non-local students cannot apply for state quota seats. They may apply only for management quota seats in private colleges.

Key insight: Telangana-domicile students who completed MBBS from a central university such as AIIMS, BHU or AMU may be eligible for state quota PG seats. They must show a valid Telangana domicile or study certificate and should verify eligibility at tspgmed.tsche.in before the last date.

How to Apply for PG Medical Admission at KNRUHS?

• Step 1: Register at tspgmed.tsche.in and upload the NEET PG or NEET MDS scorecard, MBBS or BDS degree, internship completion certificate and State Council registration certificate.
• Step 2: Pay the registration fee online and complete certificate verification.
• Step 3: Check the merit list and enter web options for preferred specialities and colleges.
• Step 4: Pay the university fee after allotment and download the allotment letter.
• Step 5: Report to the allotted college before the deadline with all original documents.

KNRUHS Cutoff 2026

KNRUHS MBBS cutoff changes every year because it depends on NEET difficulty and the number of qualified students in each category. In the 2025 cycle, government college MBBS seats closed at 550 or above marks for OC students. Private college state quota MBBS seats closed between 400 and 500 marks.

KNRUHS Scholarships

Students in KNRUHS-affiliated colleges can use Telangana state and central government scholarship schemes. SC, ST, BC and EWS students may receive fee reimbursement or post-matric scholarship support.

• Telangana Fee Reimbursement Scheme: Eligible SC, ST and BC students admitted under government quota can receive full or partial tuition fee reimbursement.
• Post-Matric Scholarship (SC and ST): The Telangana government reimburses tuition, examination and hostel fees for eligible students.
• EWS Scholarship: Students with annual family income below INR 8 lakhs can get tuition fee support under select government schemes.
• NBCFDC Scholarship: This central OBC scholarship supports meritorious students whose family income is below INR 1.5 lakhs per year.
