Campus placements are there but currently no one approached and hopefully there will be some . But most of them are private sector banks and only few departments can enter. The formed a team for recruitment training. Others should search for themselves is the current state.
For me i was searching for bcom with taxation near me . I found Alphonsa as my better option . This college is well know for its academics as well as sports background with a peaceful campus and easy access to everywhere . Transportation and hostel facilites are attractive too .
Read Full ReviewThe college offer campus placements for self-financing courses such as B.Voc Fashion Technology and BSc/MSc Clinical Nutrition and dietetics course. The rest of the students have to find jobs by themselves. Most of the students choose this college to make it easier to study at the Civil Service Institute near the college. So they get into intense coaching for the civil services exam once they finish their studies. B.Sandhya IPS ,who retired as a DGP is an alumnae of this college. The another major group go for B.Ed or qualify NET exams and pursue a teaching profession. Mostly the sports students are employed after their studies in the Indian Railways. Overall the placement cell and the percentage of placements in the college is average. I am pursuing a job oriented course to make myself more professionally employable.
As the college is located near to both private and KSRTC bus transport station which has buses arriving from almost all districts in Kerala it is convenient to reach the college. The itself has a college bus too. Plenty of hostels are also available near to the college. ATM of almost all banks are located within 1 km of the college. During summer the college faces water shortage, so the tap water gets muddy water which isn't fit for use. Students are allotted to colleges by the University through a single window system known as the Central allotment Process(CAP) based on merit marks of the candidate at the qualifying exam, choice of the candidate and the norms of reservation. Usually only the students with an average of 80% marks would be able to get a seat through the merit means. 50% of seats are filled on the basis of merit and 20% for SC/ST students, 20% filled by management and 10% reserved for Catholic students on the basis of merit.

Merit based admissions .. and just need to fill in application form and submit in the office . Will get allotment list . It is a average college . I mean we do hv study materials but at the end it's just individual efforts.
