What I Liked

Infrastructure departments , teachers , etc
Campus , old buildings , facilities , etc

What I didn’t like

Old gym with inefficient equipments etc .
Old canteen with small seating area. Lack of facilities etc

Placement Experience:

Cms college provides a lot of placement support to the students. Many of our friends have placed in companies like EY Sutherland Accenture etc.the cms college has gott a placement cell , where students can approach and wil provide lots of information regarding the placements in various companies. We also have a placement officer who take of these various placements.and also every department has a placement incharge who take care of placement activities in that particular department.

The actual glimpse of cms

What I Liked

The architecture is really vintage.its build during the 80s .it is less warm inside the buildings and classroom because of the architecture
It's really peaceful and nature friendly Because of the number of plans and trees around it's less warm in the campus than it is outside.
There's alot of butterflies and wide variety of species inside the campus
The things available in the zoology lab is really good . They have alot of species for educational purposes

What I didn’t like

It's really money oriented. they try their best to take money for everything. They cut down our attendance and mark in order for us to pay .
The canteen management is really bad .the staffs are really rude and unhygienic. After clean and wipe the floors and tables they use the same hands to take the rice and serve food .they don't wash their hands.

Placement Experience:

I have heard the placement from our college is really bad so most of the won't really opt for the placement . If you have supply or if you have ever wrote a supplimentry paper it will be hard to get into the placement list . There's offers coming from Mumbai and Bangalore and kochi. The highest package is around 35000 And the lowest is 15000 My plans after bachelors is to take masters somewhere aboard as my degree doesn't have any value without masters and after that I'm planning on to pursue culinary.

Internships Opportunities:

For few courses in our college internship is important at the third year and for my course it isn't important but if I'm willing to take intership I have taken permission from the department and then the college and do my internship.

Cms college ; a perfect blend of academic excellence and campus beauty

What I Liked

The main attraction is the campus and the well implemented facilities.
Councelling centers, a good canteen, health care facilities, great library access and so many other features

What I didn’t like

It is not a 24 hr campus. We can't access library after 5 pm

Placement Experience:

The campus conducts many campus recruitments. Many well known companies like Accenture, Mahindra, ect are conducting interviews and appointing many students for assigned jobs. Students are also encouraged for internship.

Internships Opportunities:

I am just starting my 3 semester and looking forward for internship opportunities. I hope I will find one soon

We the people of CMS

What I Liked

The atmosphere of the college is my favourite which attracts everyone. The college green and we have a beautiful view in our college. The campus life is awesome .
There are various events conducted in college like union day , onam celebration, ethnic day etc

What I didn’t like

Some faculties in college are little bit irritation they interfere in students personal matters.
The great hall where we conduct programmes are little bit small.

Placement Experience:

Currently, I am a 2nd yr student so I don't know about the placements. I have seen the pass out have been ina average good job and there are good placements also where we good salary. I guess the eligibility for placement is in 3rd year and without any barriers. I Don't know the percentage. I a planning to take my ph after my degree.

Internships Opportunities:

I am a BSc 2nd yr zoology student and I have no internships offered in my course. There are internships for BVOC students but I don't know correctly about their internship programs. Since I don't have internships I don't know about the companies and projects.

What I Liked

Faculty are very approachable and knowledgeable.
Counseling sessions given to students. Greenary and infrastructure.

What I didn’t like

The halls are too small to accomodate all the students on campus during programs.
Indoor sports courts are not available.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available for all departments during the final year of a course. Many reputed companies visit to place students depending on their departments. Students must have 70% or above to be eligible for placement.

Internships Opportunities:

I've not opted for any internship. But my friends have joined internships and they are very excited to collect their certificates. I believe I'll join an internship shortly to explore my abilities and challenge myself.

What I Liked

Greenary, infrastructure canteen and library
The faculty being approachable and helpful all the time.

What I didn’t like

There are no indoor sports courts available.
The program halls are not available to accomodate all students.

Placement Experience:

There are placements available on campus. It depends on each department. Very well reputed companies offer placements for students. The student should at least score 70% to be eligible for placement and the rest depends on the exam.

Internships Opportunities:

I've not joined any internship. But I've friends who joined and are very happy with the certificates and classes. I believe I to join an internship in the near future to challenge myself and explore more in this field.

What I Liked

Infrastructure, developed library and greenary

What I didn’t like

Great hall is too small to conduct a program involving the whole college.
Indoor sports courts are not available here.

Placement Experience:

The placements are available during the final year of a course. We need to write an exam to get placed. The student should at least score 70% to be eligible to write or apply for placement. Students based on their ability get placed every year.

Internships Opportunities:

I've not opted for any internship but my friends have attended and I believe I'll take up an internship shortly to boost my thinking ability and explore and face challenges coming my way. I've no idea about the stipend

Cms= My 2nd home

What I Liked

Mainly l liked the infrastructure here and greenary. Its was so good, when we entered into a college we will felt a cool warm temperature
Cms is very beautiful in rainy season. English department is the most beautiful department in cms. The feel of rain in english classes is so wow and superb

What I didn’t like

The facilities in our department makes us feels like we are in CBSC school
The programmes initiated by college itself is very low. So we don't have connection with the students in other departments

Placement Experience:

We have a well-maintained placement cell and many of the students here are recruited by the world's no 1 companies. I have a degree in logistics and tourism so I can work in 2 industries. I can decide where I want to work.

Internships Opportunities:

We are vocational students so we have 2 mandatory internship programs. 1st is in the 3rd sem and 2nd in 5 th sem. Our 1st internship is completed which was done in collaboration with a travel agency. We have a certificate in it and we have a case study in it and we have internal and external viva on it.

Combination of both heritage and modern infrastructure,lush green campus,well maintained canteen
Experienced faculty members and student friendly campus

Placement took place every year. Recruiters like Tata and other famous companies approach the college each year. The list of recruiters is listed on the college website. Internships and on-the-jo training are accompanied with your syllabus.

Cms the college of beauty

What I Liked

College is so greenery and naturally beautiful. Old buildings are pure beauty.
Faculties are very friendly.campus life is very good.

What I didn’t like

I think there is nothing to dislike about about our college

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement is no arrears during the end of the course. Many reputed companies such as Cipla and Asian paints etc and also many banks visited the college. The average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. After completing the degree I will take a master's and find a job.

Internships Opportunities:

I am in my first year. I never attended any internships. There are many internship programs attended in our college. I think I will get a chance in internship programs in 2nd year. Our seniors said that internships were so good and they also got a good stipend.
