DAV college abohar

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good. All required facilities are available.
The college gives equal time to study and other activities.
Most of the teachers were very good and supportive.

What I didn’t like

Some teachers were very bad and rude to the students. Only one or two teachers.
The entry road of the college is not prepared.

Placement Experience:

In my course bcom there was not placement opportunities. Nobody comes to gives us placements. But in other courses like BCA, there are opportunities. The average package is 3lpa. My plans after my degree I will do masters.

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't opted for internship because there was not any in our course bcom . Only some of the courses gets the opportunity for placement or internship. Like BCA or BSC. In BA and BCOM there are not so much opportunities.

Just my thoughts

What I Liked

Faculty is good and they are experienced.
Infrastructure is good and it is well equipped.

What I didn’t like

There is no fest in the college which actually college student wants.
The canteen area is also seperate for boys and girls irrespective of co-ahead college.

Internships Opportunities:

No, actually when I was in 4th year that year was pandemic meant COVID-19 year so I did not get any placement and not even an internship. But the students from next year got internship in verka, amul in Ludhiana, and Chandigarh and also some got at different farms

I will absolutely miss college after completion of course

What I Liked

Alll are good infrastructure campus faculty . But i like college playground.
Campus is also very big and well maintained with grass and trees.

What I didn’t like

I unlike about college is parking . There is no parking for cars
Car is not allowed in campus as there is no parking space for cars for students

Placement Experience:

Various companies approached here. Eligibility and salary is according to the stream and company who is approaching. Bca students got most of the packages of high salary. My plans are for preparation of govt exams.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes , my friends got internship in municipal corporation in abohar . They got stipend of around 12000 per month . They joined because of the various municipal projects and they handled it very efficiently.

My review about DAV college abohar

What I Liked

I like the way our teachers teach us every subject.
I like the functions held by our college.

What I didn’t like

Some of the teachers are very strict in every thing.
Sometimes students are not allowed to enjoy .

Placement Experience:

Every student who is persuing last year of his/her course is eligible for participating in placement process. The main recruiter companies who visited our college for recruitment includes Wipro,tcs,Infosys.

Internships Opportunities:

In our college internship program is for those courses which need practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge. My course has more theoretical knowledge than practice knowledge that's why I haven't done any internshipa.
