DG Vaishnav College UG Selection Criteria 2026

UG selection depends completely on 10+2 cutoff marks. The college publishes course-wise cutoffs before each counselling round, and candidates who meet or exceed the cutoff are invited to counselling.

  • Candidates are called for counselling at a ratio of 1:5 for aided seats and 1:4 for unaided seats.
  • Aided allotment follows Tamil Nadu reservation categories, including OC, BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA, and ST.

If you have contacts, you can easily get admission in the college, otherwise you have to go through a process and the cut off is also not that high. They don't conduct any interviews but you can apply for the course through their website and then they'll send you an email regarding the date and time at which you should attend the meeting and there they will select out of many candidates available.

After go through I get criminology is helpful to attain my goals before our aim to be for example we can learn more about crime, forensic which helps for a police officer. I applied from online and they called me for attend the counselling. They ask some questions like why and reason for choosing criminology.

The admission process was quite difficult here as too many applications were received to this college and very few people were shortlisted according to their academic performances. The cut-off is about above 90-95% marks. Faculties are really nice and very interactive and paper Valuation is bad.
