NIZAM COLLEGE -Think twice before you join

What I Liked

Campus size is good and environment is eco-friendly and infrastructure is also good like Library and labs
Faculty are very experienced and supportive

What I didn’t like

College atmosphere is not working for spoon feeding students
Students have to take part in every event or class

Placement Experience:

Placements are too low Accenture is most frequent recruiter Highest package is 4 LPA mostly offered in campus placements Percentage of students getting jobs is very very less Mostly government jobs and masters are preferred

Internships Opportunities:

No internship are provided by college But projects are included in curriculum Two mini projects will be included in curriculum in second year and one major project is included in sixth semister curriculum

A Legacy of Academic Excellence

What I Liked

I like my college environment it was very peaceful and greenery in hyderabad we don't have that environment but in college we find peace we have 25 acres total college we have auditorium to chill and have big ground to play
Our faculty we verey kind ,helpful, intelligents we upgrade by watching them all

What I didn’t like

I dislike more about not having insterships programs
I dislike about the political parties nonsense in college

Placement Experience:

We ba (bachelor of arts) student don't have any insterships for other bsc bba students they have I think this was the only negative mark in my college rather than that in all perspectives this college was best

Internships Opportunities:

No we have any insterships programs for other departments they have opportunities but I don't have much ideas about insterships companies and roles offered them we have project and we did with our senior and junior all combined

It's just an amazing college which provides quality education.

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure of the college but in some classes there is no proper chairs and benches.
The faculty are very friendly and the campus is very peaceful.

What I didn’t like

The thing I don't like in my college is some classes doesn't have proper equipment.
Sometimes the campus remains dirty. But it's okay.

Placement Experience:

For the department of psychology we don't have any placements provided in our college. But for the department of BCA and BBA courses there is well range of placements. Various companies come and select the students according to their performance.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for any internship as of now. In the final year we will have project and internship programs. We have to select by ourselves in what aspects we want to do the internship and project work.

My days in Nizam campus

What I Liked

A student call fell in love with the college atmosphere and the greenery
Campus life is too good with friends and faculty is an experienced one

What I didn’t like

As it's a government college exams are frequently postponed
As many student wings of political parties are present in college , protests are quite common

Placement Experience:

As I'm from the department of economics there's no placement drives particularly for economics students but there's a placement cell in the college that provides information about placements in different industries who are interested the can apply

Internships Opportunities:

Though I've been approached by a company for an internship program for a time period of 15 days ,I've been selected for the role but due to personal loss of one of my family member at that particular period of time I couldn't join the internship

Placement Experience:

The nizam college provides a Good placement to it's students. Many companies visit the campus and hire brilliant / capable students. A decent pacakge is given not too heavy nor too basic. Overall placement of college is fine.

Internships Opportunities:

Well there's a course called BBA [RETAIL OPERATIONS]. It is again a professional course with the internship programme in the 3 years course itself. A minimum.of 4500 stipend is Credited to the students who work under any retail sector given by the college faculty.

Nizam college which produces wide variety of talents

What I Liked

Over all campus environment is good sports facilities are good and gym facilities are good . faculty also good

Placement Experience:

You get only a few opportunities from the college that are mostly from the retail sector and pharma sector .. mostly you have to self-prepare and apply for the jobs college didn't provide any training, etc for placements.

Internships Opportunities:

No internships are provided by the college. they just post some of the internships through the telegram group that's it. You have to search for your own and apply for internships and mostly you get internships without a stipend.

Good college for exploring

What I Liked

Campus is good, sports and cultural events are good.
There will be library which is more useful and available of lot of books

What I didn’t like

Program of the course it is more theory based not skilled base they have to focus on skills
Placements are not there. They have to improve placements

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for the placement should be above 7.5 cgpa. There are no more placement results, placement is decent and very few companies will be visiting and their packages are around 2.5 to 4 lpa. college placement is not good so you have to be more skilled and apply for off-campus placement.

Internships Opportunities:

There are no more opportunities for the internship. From the college side, there is no internship we have to look for private and take certification courses and grab an intership. However, the student has to submit projects like mini projects in the 5th semester and main projects in the final semester.

For placements and assistannce you can get to see a few companies like Accenture etc.. but you can get to see only a few companies, especially for bca stream. And yes few students have placed during our academic year.

Life in nizam college

What I Liked

I like the environment of the campus life which is healthy and days are very memorable.
I also like my faculty who are very supportive and gives encouragement to achieve our goals.

What I didn’t like

What I didn’t liked I somewhat dislike my college infrastructure which is old buliding.
I also dislike my college cafeteria where the food is too expencive.

Placement Experience:

There are placement opportunities offered by many companies. The eligibility criteria is to pass the exams without backlogs. Companies like Byjus and Textbook visited the campus for recruitment. The highest package is 10LPA.50 they are getting placements.

Internships Opportunities:

I did not opted for internship programme.Companies like Byjus and Textbook visited the campus for for internship programme.internship is important for better understanding the subject deeply. Sometimes it's helpful for further studies.
