Things that made me choose the college was that at the time when i joined the college it was regarded as one of the best colleges in the Darjeeling district and it was considered to be a college with one of the best education system. Some other reasons were that the college was very huge and comprised of all sorts of modern facilities. The most best reason for me joining salesian college was that sports in salesian college was taken very serious and things like training a play to reach their full potential was the priority of the sports faculty members and the sports association, as sports was a very important factor in college as the students of salesian excelled in all kinds of sports that was available there and for bonus I got to meet lots of beautiful girls in the college and befriend them easily as I studied about sociology or how the society and the people in it communicate with one another and I was socially very active so it was very easy for me to interact with people .

It was close to my house. Number b of students were less so more chances of getting personalised treatment from teachers. Personality knew some teachers. The college had a basketball courts, volleyball courts, football grounds, table tennis, badminton, carrom etc. But the time schedule of the college makes you want to revisit schools. The weather’s also not good most of the time. Facility very less. But friendly faculty.

I liked tge environment and heard from seniors about sociology honours are given good priorities.We had an interview session and u can get admission with minimum 60% in 10+2. No entrance exam is required for taking admission.
