St. Albert's College offers three-year B.Sc., B.Com, and BA courses as aided and self-financed courses. Students are selected for the UG courses based on the merit of the qualifying exam.

Important Points to be remembered for UG Admissions 

  • Candidates who have passed the HSC or the qualifying exam in more than one attempt will have to face a deduction of 5 marks for each attempt, up to a maximum of 20 marks. 
  • Candidates with NCC or NSS Certificates at “Plus Two Level” and also Ex-Servicemen/ their dependents/ Widows will be awarded a bonus of a total of 15 marks. 
  • While candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PD will be given a relaxation of around 5% in the qualifying exam criteria.

The college offers MBA as a Management course at the postgraduate level. MBA course is a self–financed course with 60 students capacity. 

Candidates applying for these courses must have passed three years of degree examination with one core/main subject and two complementary subjects from a recognized University.

  • Candidates applying for these courses must have passed three years of degree examination with one core/main subject and two complementary subjects from a recognized University. 
  • Candidates applying should have scored at least 45% marks or a CGPA of 1.80 out of 4 (in core and complementary subjects) and 2 out of 4 (for the common course). 

Selection Criteria

  • Selection to each PG course is based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination. 
  • Selection in M.Sc. (Space Technology) and MSW courses is done based on the entrance exam followed by a group discussion and interview. 
  • The entrance exam is comprised of objective-type questions on Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability, and General Knowledge. The maximum marks that are allotted to the objective type test are 100. 
  • Final merit list of M.Sc. (Space Technology) and MSW has 50% weightage from Graduation Result + 30% from Entrance Exam + 10% from GD + 10% from Interview. 

Important Points to be remembered for seeking PG admissions 

  • A Bonus of 5 marks will be given to NCC and NSS candidates for admission to any course in the college. 
  • The bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to ex-servicemen, their dependents, and Widow of Jawan. 
  • A negative mark of 5 will be deducted from the total rank marks for each additional attempt candidate will take for completing the qualifying examination. 
  • In MA courses, 75% of the total seats are reserved for those candidates who have taken the concerned subject as Optional (Main) in their BA Degree course.
