The main reason to choose this college was the quality of architecture the college and city provides.This is a very small college of less than 250 students. The city itself provides exposure to the architecture designed by Charles edouard jeanneret gris le corbusier, one of the master architect about whom the whole world learns in architecture. Overall college experience is good but at the same time for your overall growth you have to focus more on architecture than the college as many functions are organised throughout the year.

I wrote JEE Paper 2 (B Arch) scoring AIR 274 and hence got admission here in the All India Category (General). It’s a decent government college in a nice city like Chandigarh. I’m from Delhi and the best option I found is CCA. It was established in 1961 making it one of the oldest institutions to study Architecture. The college itself is an Architectural Marvel, built by Ar. Aditya Prakash under the guidance of Master Architect Charles Eduard Jeanerette Gris Le Corbusier, who planned Chandigarh itself. The infrastructure is a 10/10 and the fact that most of the architectural vocabulary, you’d be able to find physically in the college itself. I prepared for JEE Paper 2 from NICS South Ex. It’s the best institution literally.
