There will be two competitions Intra and inter-college competitions. Namely Kondattam and Freedom. They are held between July, August and September. There is a student's club which is run by final-year students. They conduct every competition and fest. Fest like Muthamizh Vizha, Freedom, Kondattam, College and Hostel Day, NCC Day, NSS Day, Orientation Day for freshers, Mess Day, Environmental Day, and Club closing day are conducted.

Many fests are organised and d by the students like club inauguration, orientation day for freshers, muthamizh vizha, Pongal vizha, kondatam, freedom, sports day, NCC day , NSS day, batch day, hostel day and club closing day. The library is very vast and contains most of the important books for any preparation. The student's amenity centre and an canteen with many snacks and refreshers are present. All labs are well established with costly instruments. Tnau_trichy_club Instagram is managed by the students. Many clubs are present in the college such as Thursday talk. The hostel is good..the food is average..boys are allowed to go outside and have food..there are many hotels nearby within walking distance. But girls are not allowed to cross the gate. The hostels are well maintained and the mess fees average about 3500-4500.
