Students get in generally according to their cut-off and Caste wise, Students from all over India enter through the ICAR entrance exam. I got in through Industrial Quota. There are many quotas like NRI, Ex-servicemen, and Disability.

It is the 4th agriculture college in Tamil Nadu and is best choice for students after tnau coimbatore. The college atmosphere is very soothing. Just a walk around the campus will be an stress buster. The college also supports the students on extracurricular activities like sports , cul etc. The bad aspects may be...the class timings, which is the case in all agriculture colleges. The college timing is from 7.30 am to 5.00 pm. The syllabus is also tough, you need to study 10+ courses per semester and the pass percentage is 60%. Just applying for counselling is enough for joining if u have a good cut Counselling is different for Tamil medium students, sports quota and differently abled. If you don't have enough cutoff you can join using industrial quota in which you need to pay extra 8 lakhs for the seat. NRI quota is also available, but the fees will be 2 lakhs INR per semester.
