AB shetty college of Dental Science

What I Liked

The thing I like about this college is it’s a deemed to be university first of all
Second, it’s a charitable hospital we get exposed to various cases

What I didn’t like

Its infrastructure is nice. It has medical college as well
It’s in the outskirts of Mangalore but the place is nice we get all things available

Placement Experience:

Internships are provided by the college but as I mentioned earlier I don’t know much about the internships, but during internships they will allot us to rural postings and maybe go far or near from the college.

Remarks:

This college is deemed to be university, and also in internet it showed its 3rd best university for dental science. For you to enroll to this college you need to be eligible in neet ug. And if you want you can apply for NRI seats

My Dental College experience and review

What I Liked

The college is very good and is placed as the 3 best private college and the. College have modern equipment and treatment
The campus life is amazing too , the campus is big and there are many fun activities to do there are many places and foods to try out as well

What I didn’t like

The holiday or free time is very less , it’s very exhausting and there is not much break
The hostel in time is at 9 and the food given is very bad quality with there being oil and some staff in the college are quite strict

Placement Experience:

There are no placements provided by the college , but the college has something known as college placements by which the student is employed in the same college as a staff or even at a rural health center or at various other clinics and has opportunities to study abroad and exchange programs as well

Remarks:

I chose this college as it was one of the best in the country and ranked 3 in the list of private dental colleges, the campus is good and very modern. There are good teachers and very modern instruments and procedures for treatment. The college looks very modern and beautiful too

Top in class Clinical exposure you can expect when it comes to dentistry.

What I Liked

Vast infrastructure including a running Hospital which gives you a hand at clinical exposure when it comes to core branches involving cases at oral surgery etc.
Campus life is not as if you would expect in a engineering college or arts, provided clinics comes first over your sense of campus life..!

Placement Experience:

Placement criteria are bleak as this is a medical branch of studies that involves a lot of real-world scenarios and clinical skills which you will be exposed to as an undergrad which will help you to grow as a responsible and committed doctor. Trust me, a doctor never cries over placement, his/her skills should answer for the same.

Remarks:

Decent patient inflow comparing other colleges in Dakshina Kannada, clinical exposure. Admission is provided solely based on Neet. Cutoff varies according to yearwise due to qualification marks set at different standards by the examination committee.

ABSMIDS THE PARADISE

What I Liked

The collage has a great infrastructure and facility is really
The campus provides a great environment

What I didn’t like

Faculties are not much flexible they are usually strict towards us
Campus can be more modified that there will be more space dor studends to hangout

Placement Experience:

Our collage doesn’t provide any placements but will have to do 1 year of internship. In which we will ne posted in eveey department for 1 month almost after graualtion 97% of them will get the job or will be placed for sure

Remarks:

I was suggested this college by my friend. To entroll to this course we have to write NEET entrance exam and het eligibility mark usually comes around 130 range then apply to nta for allotment they will allot the clg according to our preferences
