What I Liked

The classrooms are equipped with air conditioners that is the best part of the college because go as a place with excessive heat and the air conditioners help to cool down the temperature and we can focus on studies rather than focusing on heat
Also, the building architecture is not so complicated. It is easier all the practical labs are on one side and the classrooms are on one side which makes easier to find classroom for new students.

What I didn’t like

The colour of the college is blue, which I hate the most because I don’t know it is just bad
Sometimes the faculty do not arrive so due to that, the class of that particular subject is not held

Placement Experience:

All the companies have their link to this college since GOA is the core of tourist destination. In India. The placement and job opportunity provided to the student is vast. The highest average package was 12,00,000 per annum and the percentage of students getting placement is around 85%.

Remarks:

The best thing about this college is the location. It is in Goa, and we can get so much exposure around a tourist destination. Also, it is not a rush, city like Delhi. It is very calm and we can meet students from all around the country.

IHM GOA-Hub of hospitality,Fun and Joy!

What I Liked

Attractive and Cathy infrastructure. Cooperative enough faculty. Refreshing campus Life
Best career opportunities provided,Special guidance and help by faculty is provided. Curriculum is best if given proper attention by the student.

What I didn’t like

Some faculty members and their behaviour towards teaching.(They seriously need to change their behaviour)
Campus placement rules have to be changed as average student fell behind often times due to repetitive participation of selected candidates.

Placement Experience:

Placements are conducted in the 5th semester of the course I.e in the last year.No eligibility criteria as such for placements as a student is eligible to seat for the campus in 5th sem. Companies/brands like Oberoi, TAJ, Hilton, Hyatt, and Starbucks visit the institute every year for placements. Around 60% of students get placed Every year, the highest package offered is 6LPA.

Remarks:

I chose this college firstly because Goa itself is a hub of hospitality and service and the college has the same vibe as any hotel management institute should have. Talking about admissions, it happens the same way as you have to appear for the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam which is conducted all over India. (Please check the NCHMCT site for more info as of now the affiliation of the course is about to change from IGNOU to a new University affiliation). No interviews and no GDs are conducted to do admissions in IHM Goa. Seniors are generally assisted in first-year admission for parents and students. Overall admission process is good and has little to no hassle.

My overall experience in IHM goa

What I Liked

Faculty was very cool and friendly with everyone

What I didn’t like

What I don’t like was some people in the clg was very doubled face

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

I have given NCHM JEE exam after that I got selected for this college in first round My admission process was online due to Covid waves After 5-7 months our offline clg has started This is how I got addmission

Dont waste your money in doing ihm in goa

What I Liked

Collage atmosphere is good some faculty supports

What I didn’t like

Teaching staff is so rude in behaviour they make students depressed

Placement is coming in 3 year Eg like dominos, kfc, hotel taj , raddison blue etc Highest pacakage is 10 lakh and average package is 6 lakh After getting my degree i am going to work in any 5 star property and after that i will try for abroad

Remarks:

My dream is to become chef I thought this collage is good but ihm goa not teaching properly no good coordination taking high fees and teaching is not at that level faculty is is not solving any query of the students
