There is a placement cell in our college which was established lately however few students were only placed. The placement cell provided internship in High court of Kerala and several other offices. Infosys was one of the recruiters.
The main factor was affordability. GLC Thiruvananthapuram is one of oldest law college in india and it has its own goodwill. There was no interview process. The admission was solely based on rank wise allotment made by CEE.

Read Full ReviewPlacements are not really happening here. The college lacks in this aspect. The students themselves try to land on a job. But from last year the college has started to bring firms to the college and to get students placements.
I chose this college for 2 reasons, first it being the only government college in Kerala giving BA Llb. Second, due to the place and also how there are many alumnis that have become renowned in various fields that I'm interested in.

This is the best givernment law college in Kerala.. and it is the only government institution that provides the course of BA.LLb. Students who wish to study in this prestigious college have to attend Kerala law entrance exam(KLEE) and must secure within the rank of around 300 ( cutt off for General category). There is no interview. After getting in to the college, students will have orientation class for 1 or 2 weeks.
Read Full ReviewPlacement cell is active in college. But placement is very low in the college. It'll be improving every year. Placement cell is become active every year. So we can hope that by 2 years placement become more accurate.
The main reason for me to choose this college is, this is the only government college in Kerala which offers BA LLB. Also the course is very affordable. To get into this college, a student must write Kerala Law Entrance Examination that's being held on every year during August. We have to score below 300 rank to secure admission in this college. For the persons who avail reservation it'll be different. For EWS it'll be nearly 1000 rank and for SCST It'll be 2000 rank. I prepared for this exams through online mock tests and guides. The best way to study for Klee is to attend maximum online mock tests. It'll help you to increase your speed and it'll also help to increase your time management skills. You can choose WRITS entrance guide. It's affordable.
Read Full ReviewEven though we have a placement cell in a college it doesn't work good before we didn't have much placements from our college but lately now some companies from Karakattam Trivandrum or approaching us for legal advisor post from a college. I cannot say placement cell is dead but there are very if you placements but I can say a 30% 40% of students are getting placed and the participation students in placement cell is very low maybe that is a reason which leads to an enfective placement cell in college
The main factor for me in choosing this institutional that about the fee and the best reputed teachers in there. To say about the entrance we have an examination state wide KLEE that is Kerala law entrance examination for the selection to government colleges so I wrote the exam then there wasn't any interview or any group discussion more the admission is by the process of selecting according to the candidates in the rank list to Government law college Trivandrum the first 92 ranks was shows in the merit list later the other people Canada dates got through reservation. For preparing the entrance examination I had attended some crash course for LLB entrance examination in my nearby place there are online preparation helpers and crash course for attaining the rank or the selection in this Kerala law entrance examination there are also at the books available for example talent Academy provides books for the LLB entrance
Read Full ReviewMain reason in choosing this course is that my elder sister is also an llb graduate so during my 12 th standard at school i was interested in llb. So i choose to study llb. The faculty here are all very qualified persons. Some even studied llb and llm here itself and teaching here. The course in itself is not that hard but the vastness of the curriculum makes it somewhat difficult. The problem were happening of University exams they were a mess i wrote the 1st sem University exam when i was a second year student. And the results of this exam will also come late.
This College is close to my house and easy to travel. Government College has less tuition fees so I opted this College. Government Colleges have an overall good reputation and is hard to get in without good rank in entrance exams.
Read Full ReviewThere is a placement cell run by the students as a joint venture with the faculty which keeps students updated about the vacancies for internship and fresher experiences. They're mainly concerned with the pre-graduation internships which could be helpful for the students when they graduate and land a significantly beneficial opportunity of their choice.
We had to clear an entrance exam called 'KLEE' or Kerala Law entrance examination and score a rank of less than 200 to get into this college. The admission procedure was simple. The qualified participants were allotted seats in this college, 40% of seats were reserved for the General Category and the rest 60% were reserved for OBC/SEBC, etc. preparation for this exam was similar to any other competitive examination. Coaching is optional.
