Review of Sultan-ul-uloom college of law

What I Liked

The curriculum is designed to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, which are essential in today's dynamic business environment.
the faculty is often a blend of experienced academicians and industry professionals who bring real-world insights into the classroom. The college's vibrant campus life, with clubs and events, encourages leadership, collaboration, and networking, preparing students to excel in their careers.

What I didn’t like

Heavy Workload: Law programs are notoriously demanding, with extensive reading, research, and writing required. The sheer volume of case studies, legal theories, and statutes can sometimes feel overwhelming.
High Competition: The competitive nature of law school can be intense. Class rankings, strict grading curves, and the race for internships or clerkships can lead to high stress levels.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available upto 9L rupees Upto 60% students have got placement from each batch and more than 80% students have achieved the internship. My plans after getting degree is to pursue higher studies i.e., Master of Laws

Remarks:

Main reason of choosing this college was well qualified lecturers and the environment. I didn't face any interviews or any tests as I joined through management quota. Students can even appear for LAWCET exam and get admitted through their ranks. About the lecturers, each and every lecturer is well qualified and well experienced. The way they explain,the student-teacher relation is good.

My Law Campus Life

What I Liked

I love the faculty of my law department as they are sometimes funny
There are so many events taking place which keeps you getting engaged and exposure

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure needs a change as it is not up to the mark
The student spend most of the time in canteen and do not attend their lectures

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria would be a law degree from recognised university of India I have no clue about the highest and average packages offered My plans after completing degree is to do Bar course from London

Remarks:

There is so much good about the campus as it is all covered by trees and flower plants The beautiful ambience was what caught my attention The faculty is super coordinating and has brilliant teaching tricks The bad aspect is just that student roam around the campus and do not attend lectures Admission process is that student must appear in lawcet exam and qualify it

college’s infrastructure is nice and huge. the classrooms are neatly maintained.

Placement Experience:

as i’m a law student, no placement or job opportunities will be provided through college. i have mentally decided to go to abroad for further studies and complete my barrister over there. after my barrister i’ll come back to my country and earn over here

Remarks:

my college is one of the oldest and best college for law. i had to give a state level law exam called as lawcet. i prepared for these exams though mock tests and etc. it was an exam based on general knowledge.
