In first 2 years we get some law subject and many ba subject like contact, torts, after that all are law subject and also we get one language course. Like spanish. French,hindi, sanskrit,. Teacher are for only 2 weeks for 2 sem

I belong from science background and really wanted a career switch and work in corporates or corporate law, hence i decided to pursue BBA LLB as it drives my career interest. The curriculum is very flexible and students friendly it increases various subjects of law and management over the span of 5 years where generic law subjects like cpc and BNS and BNSS are there till Specialization like IPR, Competition ,Banking . Where management subjects ends around fourth year. The examination partern is based on continous evaluation. Where the faculties persist very indepth knowledge of the subject with ensuring students reciving partical learning experience and are very approachable. The term end exams are help per semester and it depends on the level of paper set. The paper are usually appliaction based forcing the students to think critically.

I mean the course guaranteed the application of both theory and practice but considering the campus is mostly south Indians you will find it hard to fit in the usual cells of the college as they are most of the majority (only if you are from North India). We have internships though which is usually very helpful. The faculty usually knows what they are doing and try their best to interact with the class, I wouldn't say their teaching methods are interesting but then again its law so I don't expect better. The exams conducted are usually on time, and the papers are usually niche topics that a student would usually ignore while going through the big fat books of law but then again they don't set the papers as like you cant write and anything and fail, passing is relatively easier than getting top notch marks

So, the overall curriculum is quite interesting; there are a few subjects that I found irrelevant from law school perspective like foundation of ethics. The faculty is quite nice and friendly. However i personally feel some of them are not quite qualified to be teaching in such a huge institute, no offense to them. There are very few professors who provide us with a proper reading or preparation material for exam, they expect us to grasp everything during the lectures only, which is what I've personally struggled with. There are also instances where the marking strategy of the professors may seem confusing or not quite right. The good thing is there is a huge library in our campus that provides with a variety of books so it's not all bad for academically. Moreover, the faculty is also available for flexible hours if we have any queries or problems. They provide a structured one/syllabus which they send us through mail prior to the commencement of the semester and attach their emails.

So the academic is really good here even most if the faculty is really good the faculty will help you through your publishing and research assistance as well. The internals are also in the hand of faculty so if you are on good terms with them it will help you in a long way.

I have always been inclined to law as a profession since the subjects always interested me. The faculties have received their LLM's at least most of them have and the teaching method also is good. The exams are always timely and the difficulty level is medium. However, the portions to cover are very vast and one issue is that the examination only has four 10 markers hence only 10 percent of the portions that we sat up and studied ended up coming. The fees increase by 10 percent each year for our batch and the cost to study is comparatively very high as compared to other colleges but there is nothing extraordinary that they offer. And you have to stay at the hostel since it is a completely residential campus.

The qualifications of the faculty are pretty solid, however the teaching methods are very old school and not up with he times. The term end exams are like any other college sem ends, with all the added pressure and anxiety.
