I have cleared slat entrance for exam. For this i have entered into a coching centre and after clearing written exam which is online mode with everytime an invigilator check you by monitoring if you caught up in cheating your paper will get cancelled. After clearing exam you have to appear for interview test .

As the name suggests symbiosis is known for its reputation and vibrance learning. I applied to various nlus and other private colleges but this one is affordable with great learning experience and ample amount of exposure provided to its students. The curriculum are very much student friendly with regular tests to analyze the critical thinking. The slection process is little different from clat. People have to apply for slat and then give PI and Written Ability Test post which only they get selected. The interview rounds are generic with noraml questions being asked. Its pretty easy and for slat the preparation done for clat is enough, however more emphasize shall be put on Wat as its given on random topics.

I went through a written test called SLAT and Personal Interview and a round of WAT that is a writing analysis test. For the PI it was usually current events, your hobbies what made you choose this college and your verbal skills, PI and SLat are mostly the deciding factor. The good aspects of this college are it provides a strong curriculum for us to depend on, and it truly has experienced faculty members. The bad aspects are the location of the campus, the campus life usually turns very dull and repetitive after the first few months also not much to do on campus so an average college life is not to be expected.

I gave SLAT which is an exam for private institutions particularly for taking admission in any of the Symbiosis International University Law Colleges. After that the selected candidates are shortlisted for a private interview by each institution i.e. SLS, Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Noida.

There is a entrance test ie- SLAT then an interview round then 3 list will come. The slat is like any other entrance with basic apptitude., english as well ad Gk and legal skills so once you clear that you will get a list for the qualifying interviews. After which the selected ones get the mails

The reason why I choose Symbiosis Hyd is because of the brand value that it holds. Even though Symbiosis Hyd is not that well known yet Symbi Pune our sister college is one of the top law schools in India. The selection process is twofold. At first, there is an entrance exam called SLAT which has most of the subjects similar to CLAT but the difficulty level is way lower. If you have prepared for CLAT you shouldn't have a problem in clearing SLAT. The cut-off to get into Pune would be between 45 to 50 out of 60 marks. And Hyd will mostly be above 30 but this depends on the cut-off level each year. Then comes the PI which is comparatively easier. You just need to be well-versed with current affairs, and landmark case laws and be able to answer questions about yourself. Then you are either selected, waitlisted, or rejected.

The admission process included a 3 step criteria with an entrance test, an essay writing test and a Personal Interview, also called the PIWAT. The process was pretty smooth and unproblematic. I chose this college for the reputation it holds and in hopes to reap the benefits of its facilities.
