As a budding pharmacist

What I Liked

The free environment where you are not forced to study, it's your choice to shine in tha college
The staffs are so kind and promising towards the students

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure need some betterments...
The placement opportunities has to be improved

Placement Experience:

MRB is the main exam which is for the employment of pharmacy in the state and RRB which is central.. it is so easy to clear and the position will be according to the marks.. you will be placed in pharmacy or drug control labarotries

Remarks:

The collge name is well known so it is also a proud to be a MMC student.... and there will be special care in the government hospital of you are a student.... and infrastructure need some devlopment..

What I Liked

Sports is very encouraged and we can keep good physique ,gym facility is also available
Clinical exposure offered is very valuable and is worth going

What I didn’t like

Climate of the place is bit hot and will be difficult during summer
Mosquito is also a problem and with proper measures like repellent,bats etc we get relief from that problem

Placement Experience:

After completing all the papers we have to work for one year as house surgeon in the campus itself and it will give the clinical experience to work as a practitioner.After completing the degree it would be advisable to get a corresponding PG as you wish

Remarks:

The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college is just superior as compared to other colleges also the faculty are very approachable and also the college also has many opportunities in extracurricular activities like arts and sports

What I Liked

I like the environment of my college, which have more trees and peaceful surrounding And it has a high reputation among the government medical colleges
The government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai supports a high outpatient number, so I can learn as much as from the patients and become a good doctor

What I didn’t like

what I literally hate in my college, there is no place to visit around in Spare time for fun
The college per batch had 250 students which they care is not fully got

Placement Experience:

just now, I finished my first year university exams. I still got 3.5 years to be placed in job. First of all. I need to work intern under government Rajaji Hospital For one year, under the stiffen of ?28,000 then for my higher studies, I need to go for to write next or PG or else anything

Remarks:

i talk with my menters and colleagues parents and search responses from youtube and social platform and the colleges i joined is have a high reputation and situated in my native place so its very convenient for me to decide

My college of nursing

What I Liked

I like the co classmates relationship with me and they treate so well and feel like home
About college ,the teachers make us understand the subjects very practically and some were being inspiration for us

What I didn’t like

The classroom is very concise and the infrastructure is more like a school and not like a college
The faculties doing favorism to their beloved students and show no courtesy to others

Placement Experience:

There is no provision for placements and internships outside the campus. Internships will be held inside the hospital but without any payments or stipends. Also, everyone gets placements. I am gonna prepare for AIIMS.

Remarks:

I prefer nursing in this college for the mean of easy career opportunities and service manner. I choose Madurai over Madras Medical College for more safety and financial purposes. The admission process is done by cut-off of 99.5-95 and there is no entrance exam for this course

What I Liked

The curriculum for enhancing the practical skill development is good Teachers are well qualified
Teaching aid is modernized They are treating all equally

What I didn’t like

Mess food is fully waste providing the low quality food
Faculties are not friendly. Leadership is autocratic

Placement Experience:

The college is not providing any placement but there is internship of 6 months .my plan is to prepare for the NORCET exam to get recruited at AIIMS new Delhi. The internship is so helpful it's is developing a students decision-making abilities and makes him competent

Remarks:

I selected this college through and scholarship scheme and I got this college as per merit. Based on marks on 12th class you will get seat in this reputable college. The good thing is the clinical knowledge that we are getting in this college is up to mark The bad aspect is the lack of facilities like no extra curriculum activities, bad mess food, and restrictions to girls that they can't get out of campus If u will get good marks nearly 85% in the open Quota and 78% approximately in reservation you will get this college

What I Liked

I like the quality of education provided in this college.
Infrastructure and campus life is very good in which you can survive easily. Faculty of college is also very well qualified and experienced.

Placement Experience:

Madurai Medical College provides a year internship program in nearly attached govt. Rajaji hospital madurai. After completing the ug course pg option is also available in this college. After completing the course you can get a good placement anywhere due to the good reputation of this college.

Remarks:

Madurai Medical College is India's top-ranked medical College. The quality of medical education is very good with very low tuition fees. •Admission process is very smooth For admission criteria, you have to crack NEET UG exam. •Aiq Cutoff for this college last year was around 620 for general 610 for OBC 500 for sc 470 for St.

Honest review of madurai medical college

What I Liked

I love the clinical exposure which we get here and also the infrastructure provided
I also love the reputation of this college among the medical community

What I didn’t like

There aren't many cultural events and academics are too tough
The hostels are pretty old and they lack modern amenities.

Placement Experience:

There are no assured placement.After graduation students have to seek out jobs as casualty doctors in hospitals or join the government service or set up a private clinic.Most prefer to study for the pg entrance exam and gain a pg seat so as to practice as a specialist.

Remarks:

The college is old and was established in the post independence era.The college boasts a huge hospital the Rajaji hospital attached to it.The departments are highly recognised for their research activities.The students are promised good clinical exposure.
