The GUNTUR medical College..

What I Liked

As I am from all India quota the people here are very friendly and polite . The campus is good and faculty is very experienced.
The labs and hospital is very good and it has very large patient load so we have good experience.

What I didn’t like

I think the building should be renovated and the hostel and college should be together.
The new hostel building is in progress it should be built very soon .

Placement Experience:

No campus placement is there in MBBS in any colleges in India. We clear pg and then pursue post-graduation. We do our internship in our hospital and we are paid for that. We are well played approx 25k during our internship

What I Liked

Now a days our college environment is maintained well with greenary.

What I didn’t like

No proper fests are going in our college when compare to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

In our couse no placements are taken internship is compulsory to get graduated internship is starts after our final year. During internship you will earn nearly 25k . During internship in wards you will a lot.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is in our hospital only.everyone should complete internship to get graduate. During internship we will learn more and we will get good experience that need for our course. outpatients and inpatients rate is high.

My life at my college

What I Liked

Campus the gardens the auditorium and the college canteen
The faculty are good atleast some of them are

What I didn’t like

Some of the faculty are bad they don't teach properly at all
And everything else is good only..in my opinion

Placement Experience:

The hospital is huge and with a large clinical exposure and the students get to learn about a lot of stuff ,diseases and they get to even treat .so it's a great opportunity when they practice outside the hospital they can do the things easily

Internships Opportunities:

We have to do internship in the hospital for an year and they give 25000 per month which is a good .the pay will be slightly delayed but they will send all the money and yeah internship is one hell of an experience

Sensefull review

What I Liked

Faculty are well experienced and lab infrastructure appreciable

What I didn’t like

As the college is old there is some discomfort

Placement Experience:

As it is a medical after vollege we can go to private hospital with our certificates so we can get the salary as the marks secured in the uneversity exams of the college it may vary from 1 lakh to about 3 lakhs as the experience increses salary increses

Internships Opportunities:

Yes there is internship after 4 years if graduation we should do internship government general hospital it will be a cheerful and knowledge gaining step for a medical student and there is so many out patient blocks in ggh hospital

What I Liked

The infrastructure though it looks old from the outside it's the best from inside
The seniors they are real gems and they take very good care of you

What I didn’t like

The facilities probably the washrooms need a bit of a work
There's a work going on in our college which is a bit disturbing but will end in 2 to 3 days

Placement Experience:

I haven't had my internship yet but by looking at my seniors and getting information from them you get the best chances from here as this is one of the top most medical colleges in Andhra pradesh and you will have a great experience

Internships Opportunities:

It was the best and great appearance. I told you I haven't did the internship yet but I enquired it and it was great and perfect said by our seniors though and internship here is good as it is from government

After completion of ug 4 years and internship... We have to apply for pg neet .. after the qualification.... The guntur medical college id good college for are future dreams...labs and faculty all are good

College of your dreams-

What I Liked

In terms of faculty we have the best in class which helps us to learn theost about patients and help us to be good doctors ahead in our lives
In terms of campus life you do have a great one mainly by living in hostel as we play many games and have lots of fun so as in college during fest and events as me being a key member in culturals club I say we do have a great college life

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is quite old as it is one of the oldest medical colleges in india so it is something to be looked for but in near future new hostel is being made and lot of developmental activities are going on
In terms of campus we have a small area without any ground due to college being in the centre of city just besinde railway station so extension of campus is not possible making it difficult

Placement Experience:

Since this is a medical College everyone does post graduation after completing their degree which is done by writing an exam called NEET PG maybe converted to NEXT in coming years in order to pursue speciality in a course like MD or MS

Internships Opportunities:

Every medical student does an internship of 1 year in their respective college and the salary as of now is 25000/month which covers all the departments to get an overall experience for the student to pursue any further in that selected field

The Guntur Medical College

What I Liked

Our collage class rooms are very comfortable able to equip around 250 students and we have smart classroom
Our faculty is very top notch and they have. Tons of experience and very successful career they help in everything

What I didn’t like

We don't hove a college ground so we lack sports faculty and thus we can't have a good physical activity
we also have very less cultural events and clubs activity is also so less it is mostly focused on academic work only

Placement Experience:

We have internship in our government hospital and they provide us with stifunds of 25000 per month we have a lot of work experience here and learn how to interact with patients and operation procedures and there is 100% guarantee of placement after internship but we have to write an exam called neet pg/next

Internships Opportunities:

I still didn't get the internship I have further one year of study then I will get the internship but it's a very great opportunity to interact with patients and have a work experience we also have stifunds and learn a lot from seniors and professors

GMC not just guntur medical college but a grate medical college.

What I Liked

I mostly admire about the faculty present in guntur medical college and the campus life which is unforgettable we get to strength our lives by every friend around us.
I respect the attention the faculty takes towards us and the dedication they keep towards their work.

What I didn’t like

As it a old college I someway don't like the hostel and infrastructure of the college but it is adjustable.
Nothing much hate towards Guntur medical college as it is the most loved one.

Placement Experience:

No placements coz we don't get placements as we are MBBS students we do an internship of one year in the respective college and then study for PG afterwards. All most almost all the students i.e., 90% of students get selected for their interested postgraduate course.

Internships Opportunities:

As MBBS students after completing four years of study, we need to do an internship of 1 year in the respective college with a stipend of about 25k per month approx. We get to know perfectly about everything in this one year of internship and we get more experience in this field.
