I have not yet reached internship, its start for student thst have cleared 4th yr mbbs. Therefore i do not have a first hand experience of the internship here. Although i have heard from my seniors that the stipend is very low compared to government colleges. They also allot a hostel for student doing internship and allot a seperate hostel for them.

We can do internship in our own hospital. The stipend is rs 7000. We get a chance to work with efficient doctors. It is a great learning opportunity. We also get good amount of exposure to various cases.

We have an internship of one year in which we cover all the departments in the hospital such as general medicine, general surgery, community medicine, obg, labor room, MICU ICCU SICU, dermatology, psychiatry, fmt, lab medicine, emergency medicine, ENT, ophthalmology, etc. We have have a week each in MICU ICCU SICU etc. We also get casualty duties and labor room duties. Sometimes night shifts too

i have not opted yet for any internship programme as ive just commenced my second year but internship ir provided by the college after the course and a stipent of 7000 is given monthly at time of internship

During the final year posting we'll start receiving a stipend and it will go on increasing when we reach pg. We'll have to work in all departments during our house surgeoncy and we'll be well equipped for working in hospitals as a doctor.

The internship will be provided in 5th year and that will be in a college hospital. We will be getting postings in the emergency department, general medicine, dermatology, general surgery, obstructive gynaecology and all for better education and training.

There are no placement or campus interviews for this course. There is a mandatory internship after 4.5 years of the course. The majority of the students will prepare for PGs after the course. Hence no direct recruitment
