I heard about college via a consultant . This college is good in infrastructure. Good in ambience. Good environment. But no campus life . No programmes. No extra curricular activities. Concentrated only on studies
Read Full ReviewThere is a compulsory 1year internship after the 5 year course. I dont no much about campus placement from dpt and the senior most batch is still in 5th year but some of our seniors from the BPT has got selected to work and complete their internship with a hospital in hyderabad with a salary of around 10-15k since it is during their internship the salary offer was quite well. But DPT IS STILL EVOLVING IN INDIA so the best option is to persue abroad to get better opportunities especially to USA ,AUSTRALIA etc.
Srinivas is presently the only college in india to offer Dpt. Presently there is a written test. At the time i had enrolled there was no test as it was during covid pandemic period. The cut off to join the course was 60%in PCB. The admission process was almost smooth. Paying 30000 of the first year fee was the reservation fee and rest was asked to pay before the class started. There was a additional fee of 1500 for registration. The campus is small but still the clinical facilities and patients is extensive with some expensive and latest modalities in over 3 different department namely musculoskeletal and sports, neuro, pediatrics department. Also the college offers postings in prasant nivas(community rehab centre) and spandana(for differently abled children). It also provides posting in their hospital where we get to work in SICU,MICU,OBG,wards, and OPD.

The opportunity is increasing as more and more people are aware of theimportance of taking physiotherapy. We can run our clinics, in hospitals, rehab centres, wellness centres, fitness and diet, and so on. The average highest salary in India is INR 24 LPA and the highest with relevant experience is 44 LPA. In Kerala, a fresher salary is between 18,000-22,000 and which will vary according to experience and organization. I plan to work and settle in European countries after completing my master's degree and with relevant experience and after cracking the eligibility exams or registrations.
The first thing to choose this college was the location of the college.it is situated in the exact centre of the Mangalore city. Easily accessible from the railway station, bus stand, as well as airport compared to other colleges. For me, it was convenient to take home near the college and easy availability of malls, restaurants, theaters, and hospitals. Location was even convenient for daily scholars as well. The second point was the reputation of the college itself. It was established in the year 1993 in the city of Mangalore. The third point was college ha its own medical college facility which will improve the clinical exposure Fourth was fee structure which was affordable I didn't have any interviews before joining the college, but they gave me a detailed explanation of the syllabus and opportunities as well as college facilities.
