  • B.Tech Lateral Entry, 3 years: CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, and CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

The four-year B.Tech fee is INR 3.22 Lakhs, charged at INR 80,500 per year for every specialisation. Eligible students may use schemes such as the AICTE Pragati Scholarship for women and Telangana government fee reimbursement for SC, ST, OBC and EBC categories. During the 2024 placement season, the highest package reached INR 32 LPA, while the average package was INR 6 LPA. CSE and IT contribute most of the placements, and recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and HCL Technologies.

BRECW Admission Process

B.Tech Admission

BRECW admits only women to its B.Tech courses. Seat allocation is based on TS EAMCET rank through the centralised counselling organised by TSCHE. The college does not conduct a separate institution-level test or offer admission through a direct or management quota outside government rules.

  • Complete Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants need at least 45% in aggregate, while SC and ST candidates need 40%.
  • Meet the gender requirement because every B.Tech seat at BRECW is reserved for women candidates.
  • Register for and take TS EAMCET, complete online certificate verification through TSCHE, submit web options, accept the provisional allotment, self-report and finish document verification at BRECW.

Closing ranks change according to the branch and admission year. CSE and IT generally close at lower ranks because competition is higher, while ECE and EEE usually have higher closing ranks and a wider admission range. Before filling web options, applicants should review the latest round-wise closing ranks published by TSCHE.

B.Tech Lateral Entry

Women with a diploma in the relevant engineering discipline can seek admission directly to the second year through TS ECET, which is conducted by JNTUH. A minimum diploma aggregate of 45% is required.

BRECW Placements

The Training and Placement Cell manages recruitment at BRECW. The reported placement rate for B.Tech students is 95%. In 2024, students received a highest package of INR 32 LPA and an average package of INR 6 LPA.

CSE and IT achieve the highest placement percentages and average packages among the branches. EEE graduates also pursue core engineering posts and power-sector PSU opportunities through GATE and state recruitment. The college's location near Hyderabad's IT industry supports access to software and IT services employers.
