G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad, established in 1997 by the late Sri G. Pulla Reddy Garu, is a prominent engineering college dedicated to empowering women in technical education. The college holds autonomous status and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, and approved by the AICTE. GNITS has also earned accreditations from both NAAC and NBA. In the IIRF 2023 rankings, it secured the 157th position among 166 engineering colleges in India.

GNITS offers BTech programs in multiple specializations. To be eligible, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects, achieving at least 45% in aggregate. Admission to these undergraduate programs is based on the TS-EAMCET examination or a valid JEE Main score, followed by TS-EAMCET counseling. For 2024, the TS EAMCET cutoff for B.Tech in Data Science was 7893, while for Computer Science Engineering, it was 49598.The course fee for the B.Tech program is INR 4.04 lakhs.

GNITS offers M.Tech programs at the postgraduate level. Applicants are required to have a graduation degree in a relevant discipline to be eligible for the program. Admission to these M.Tech courses is primarily based on GATE scores. In the absence of GATE-qualified candidates, seats are offered to non-GATE candidates based on their TS-PGECET merit. The course fee for M.Tech at GNITS is INR 2.12 lakhs.

According to the 2023 GNITS Placement data, 80% of students were placed in BTech with the highest CTC offered being INR 50LPA. The average base salary was 7.5 LPA. GNITS attracts top-tier companies from various industries, including giants like Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, Infosys, and TCS.
