Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) Hyderabad, established in 1981, is a prestigious autonomous and self-financed institute affiliated with Osmania University. It is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC with an "A++" Grade and NBA. In the VCE Rankings 2024, NIRF placed it in the 201-300 band among engineering colleges in India.

VCE Hyderabad offers BTech as its flagship program. Admission eligibility requires a minimum of 45% marks in the 10+2 examination (40% for reserved categories). The final selection is based on TS EAMCET or JEE Mains scores. The TS EAMCET 2023 cutoff (general category) for BTech AI was 4441 for boys and 6436 for girls, and for BTech CSE, it was 3259 for boys and 3457 for girls. 70% of seats under "Category A" are filled through TS EAMCET, while the remaining 30% under "Category B" are allocated based on JEE Mains scores and government guidelines. The fee structure is INR 5.66 lakhs for BTech CSE and INR 4.2 lakhs for BTech Civil.

VCE Hyderabad Placement 2023-24 achieved a 70% placement rate with 453 students placed. The highest package of ₹52 LPA was offered by Google, followed by Microsoft with a package of ₹48 LPA. Other prominent recruiters included Adobe, Amazon, Infosys, Reliance Retail, Salesforce, IBM, Deloitte, Oracle, and Accenture.
