- I like food in the canteen and the maintenance of the canteen is very good.
- The infrastructure in the college labs are great, there are no damages and they will maintain it very well.
Dislikes
- They don’t concentrate more about sports which also a key factor in student life physically.
- Faculty in the college are good but many are not that qualified.
Remarks :
This college is one of the top 5 colleges in Hyderabad in terms of education and on campus placements. But you cannot enjoy your college life in this college because this college doesn’t conduct many extra circulars activities. There are no GD or interviews or Written tests for admission. You will be selected only based on your EMCET Rank or JEE MAINS Percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ECE because i like chip design so to achieve that i need to learn about different subjects which are from ECE. Faculties in this college are mostly completed there PHD and well experienced in their domain and they teach really good. Exams are conducted in 2 months gap, you will have 2 mid exams, 1 lab internal and then externals. Every semester will be completed in a span of 6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
There are also intership opportunities in the college. Companies like Principal Globals, Deloitte etc offers internships and based on the performance they convert the role to full time Even in ECE domain we get companies like MOSCHIP, Valluka etc for interships
Placement Experience :
90% of the companies ask for 7.0 CGPA and above and remaining 10% ask for 8.0 CGPA, so its better to maintain above 8.0 CGPA. ServiceNow, Silicon labs, Visa, Darwin box, Delivero, Skillsoft, Oracle, TCS, Infosys and many more companies. Core Companies like MOSCHIP, Valluka, Qualcom etc This year almost 650-700 students got placed out of 800. Highest package offered is 52 LPA and it took 5 students from the college. Average package offered is 6 LPA. Around 80-85% students got placed this year. My plan after the degree is to complete my MTech.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College fee per year will be ? 1,41,000/-. For merit students you can claim fee reimbursement. Additionally, Lab fee for every semester:- 3000 to 5000 Library fee - 4000(refundable at end of the semester) There is no hostel in the campus so we need to stay in private hostels. There are multiple hostels near college within 2km radius. Hostel fee - 7000 to 9000/- depending on the room.
Campus Life :
To be frank college is not that big compared to other colleges. You will have a fest once in a year in the month of April. This will be one week long. Books and journals are available in the library, you can also access IEEE website also for journals. You will have one period per week for sports and you can even stay after the college for practice. There are also different clubs where you can show your skills like dancing, singing etc There are clubs like MUN which helps you socially.
Hostel Facilities :
College doesn’t provide hostel we need to stay in private hostels outside the college. There are many hostels around the college within 2 km radius. They will charge 7000-9000 per month and food in hostel is decent.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
