Remarks :

I chose vasavi college of engineering because it stands at top 4th college in Hyderabad. It offers the best placements in telangana after CBIT, VNR college. My sister suggested me this college because it has best industry exposure. I got admission through TSEAPCET which is common entrance exam for whole telangana state. Admission process with tseamcet is simple and there is other option which is through jee mains score or percentile. Cutoff rank to get into this college through eamcet is below 5000 for CSE and below 10000 for ECE, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose ECE course in vasavi college because I want to learn more and get experience in VLSI chip designing and also I am more interested in semiconductors. This college helps us to learn and gives teaching for competitive examinations like GATE, CAT, SSC CGL etc. Industry exposure for this college is very good. student teacher ratio is 1:65 and faculty teaching better than intermediate teaching and I understand it 100 percent well. They help me gain experience on this course realistically. Strict correction for exams makes us study even more.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships in IITs and Internships in Amazon, TCS, etc companies are given to students. There are many virtual, and offline internships provided to students. I am currently studying in 1st semester so I did not get any internships and I am trying to get more experience by doing projects. Highest stipend was 70000 per month internship along with job offer after successful completion of intership.

Placement Experience :

Vasavi college provides best placement offers, and this is one of the sole reason to choose this college to study engineering in hyderabad. students must attain 7.5 above CGPA to get eligibility to get into placement exams and get a job. Some of top recruiters that come to this college are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Service now, Adobe, Flipkart, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Cognizant, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am a BC category student in Vasavi college of engineering so I paid 105000. General category students had to pay 140000 every year. There is 9500 charged as admission and registration charges. This fee must be paid by every one . Apart from these, there are small charges like lab and development fee. They also charge 5000 for books fee for whole 4 years. But SC, ST caste need not pay the fee for books and they get books for free from college. Every year tuition fee is same but in future it may change. There are also scholarships such as EPASS scholarship and Buddy4study affiliated scholarships.

Campus Life :

Honestly even though this college is bit small and spread over 14 acres it doesnot feel like this college is small. And also greenery is good . There is each block for each branch. Yearly once there is annual day or fest happens in our college and fest name is Euphoria. There are up to 10 clubs in this college from music, dance to MUN. Library in this college is very big and its said that its best spot and building in college. we can get any study related books there. Coming to sports there are very less opportunities in sports because of hectic classwork in out college. There are less free periods or no free periods at all.

Hostel Facilities :

I am dayscholar and I have less knowledge about hostels. But there are private hostels near to the college. College doesnot provide its own hostel facilities and parents have to choose private hostels. One of my friend told me that she stays in hostel and they charge 1 lakh rupees or more for a year.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
