Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) is an unaided autonomous institution situated in Ibrahimbagh and affiliated with Osmania University, Hyderabad. It was founded in 1981 by the Vasavi Academy of Education. Vasavi college of engineering is spread over 13.6 acres of land with lawns and an aesthetic view. VCE Hyderabad Admission is based on performance in the intermediate examination from a recognized board and the scores of entrance test TS EAMCET for UG courses, TS PGECET for PG courses (M.E./M.Tech).

The admission criteria for taking admission in engineering programmes are divided into two categories, category A and Category B.

  • Category A is filled through university seats – 70%
  • Category B is filled by college management – 30%

The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has for the third time accredited the B.E courses (Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Information Technology (IT) for the year 2021. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed the examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Maths, physics and chemistry as optional subjects.

Selection Criteria

  • The selection is based on a state-level entrance test. In case of admission in the first year of the B.E programme, a candidate has to appear for EAMCET.
  • The student is required to appear for a state level exam EAMCET i.e., Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is conducted every year. The selection will be based on the cut-offs released.
  • The admission to the second year of B.E programme is through a state-level exam, ECET.

Cut Off

In this programme, 70% which is “Category – A” seats are filled through the convener i.e., through TS-EAMCET, while 30% which is “Category – B” is filled by the management of the college.

The cut-offs will be notified as soon as the EAMCET is over.
