A Brief Review of My College

What I Liked

Our college has many blocks according to the respective branches.
The faculty are assigned according to their branches. It is nice.

What I didn’t like

Our college has much less space compared to other colleges.
The importance given to the sports department is very low.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a good placement record. The eligibility criteria is that students should have more than a 7.5 CGPA. Several companies, such as ServiceNow, Oracle, and Modak, have come to our college. The highest package is 40 LPA.

Remarks:

I joined the college because of its placement report. We had group discussions in the English lab. The infrastructure of the college is very good. As per studies, the college provides everything. I joined the college based on my EAMCET rank.

Vikasith Bharath ke liye Vasavi College of Engineering

What I Liked

I like this college for its lush green surroundings, and Library block is very amazing. Clubs are so active and I can attain more public speaking skills as well as I can get more connections
I like college infrastructure and each block washroom has automatic flushes and all automatic features.

What I didn’t like

Less sports opportunities and college sports ground is very small. Strict classes and no free periods to hangout in college and play and have fun with friends
College is very small when compared to other colleges. Food in canteen is not that great.

Placement Experience:

Vasavi college provides best placement offers, and this is one of the sole reason to choose this college to study engineering in hyderabad. students must attain 7.5 above CGPA to get eligibility to get into placement exams and get a job. Some of top recruiters that come to this college are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Service now, Adobe, Flipkart, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, TCS, Cognizant, etc.

Remarks:

I chose vasavi college of engineering because it stands at top 4th college in Hyderabad. It offers the best placements in telangana after CBIT, VNR college. My sister suggested me this college because it has best industry exposure. I got admission through TSEAPCET which is common entrance exam for whole telangana state. Admission process with tseamcet is simple and there is other option which is through jee mains score or percentile. Cutoff rank to get into this college through eamcet is below 5000 for CSE and below 10000 for ECE, etc.

Vasavi college review

What I Liked

The campus is too good and it gives fresh air and the faculty here is good the infrastructure is also overall ok
The college doesn't sell seats the seats are given only for the merit students

What I didn’t like

There is only one fest every year that's the euphoria
75% attendance is mandatory here and you can use medical condonation only 4 times in 8 semesters

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit our college for campus interviews the elgibility criteria will be through the cgpa you get in the semester end examinations.The placement percentage for the ECE course is almost 70% every year and the average package in the ece is 7LPA

Remarks:

Vasavi has a very good reputation out in the city this is what and parent or a student expect from a college there is a eamcet exam which is the entrance exam to enter this college and the college also takes admission through jee mains crl rank(b-category admission)

Vasavi- A place where dreams come true

What I Liked

The most thing that I like from my colleges like my campus like even it is small compared to other colleges we used to have lot of trees and lot of places to sit, we used to have a ground and we used to have like the greenery used to make us very happy even in the sunny day is it used to be cold and even if there is a very cold day we used to sit in the ground so that the sun directly false in the ground and it used to be very kind of, I'm coming to the faculty all the faculty new ornames like everyone has and what kind of student this is what kind of student ki or she is what kind of care has to be taken for them we also use to of NPTEL courses and stuff
Campus live live you stop lot of friends no so in sports period we always use to stay together and play and in festival was used to enjoy for clubs and extra curricular programs always used to be with us I like the campus like that most

What I didn’t like

I think it would be good if my college had a hostel at least for girls
Even in the 4th year we were not allowed to go out of the college without the teach of permission its not like I do I desiggly with it but India it is okay but sometimes Tejas will not allow you but you had to go outside it's a problem at it think

Placement Experience:

The placements on internships are good compared to ECE CSE in it used to get a little more placement opportunities that that is sure in a recall is that happens and teachers everyone used to take care of us very good will also CRT which is campus recruitment training to training the students. And almost around 92 82 90% of the students just to get placed in the college most of the people also wanted to attend the masters program also provided with opportunities in our college

Remarks:

Our college doesn't have any direct donation seats for getting into a college we need to write the EAMCET exam along with this b category seats are also sold which is through JEE mains. Our college is one of the top colleges in a States so the cutoff used to be very high you should have to score a very good mark to get into college. Like for getting through EAMCET your rank has to be around 3000 or 2000 to get into CS and like 4000 to get into IT. As it is like a competitive exam my intermediate college is used to teach us how to prepare for EAMCET and I have referred previous your papers also to get through this and for mains also went to college use to prepare us.

Life in Vasavi College of Engineering

What I Liked

I like food in the canteen and the maintenance of the canteen is very good.
The infrastructure in the college labs are great, there are no damages and they will maintain it very well.

What I didn’t like

They don’t concentrate more about sports which also a key factor in student life physically.
Faculty in the college are good but many are not that qualified.

Placement Experience:

90% of the companies ask for 7.0 CGPA and above and remaining 10% ask for 8.0 CGPA, so its better to maintain above 8.0 CGPA. ServiceNow, Silicon labs, Visa, Darwin box, Delivero, Skillsoft, Oracle, TCS, Infosys and many more companies. Core Companies like MOSCHIP, Valluka, Qualcom etc This year almost 650-700 students got placed out of 800. Highest package offered is 52 LPA and it took 5 students from the college. Average package offered is 6 LPA. Around 80-85% students got placed this year. My plan after the degree is to complete my MTech.

Remarks:

This college is one of the top 5 colleges in Hyderabad in terms of education and on campus placements. But you cannot enjoy your college life in this college because this college doesn’t conduct many extra circulars activities. There are no GD or interviews or Written tests for admission. You will be selected only based on your EMCET Rank or JEE MAINS Percentile.

Insight trends,trends outcomes

What I Liked

Faculty are verry friendly. Campus Life is very amazing. Canteen is also very good compared to other colleges.
The most excited thing is the college is college fest Euphoria which is conducted in April. It's is a 3days fest

What I didn’t like

I like everything about my college but our playground is very small .so ,we can't play properly.
They give lots of assignment and home works

Placement Experience:

As per today's market, they are not many placements in EEE. I plan to prepare for GATE exams and get into IIT or through GATE score we can apply for government jobs or private jobs related to my core.

Remarks:

I have choosen this college because it is the one of the best college in the telengana state. I have got into this college through EAMCET or we can even get through B-category ( jee mains percentile).

Insights,trends and outcomes

What I Liked

The most I like about the college is faculty ,they are very friendly and they teach us with many different examples which will make a student to understand the topic very easyly and the infrastructure is also very good we have 5 blocks in our college for each department, i like about our college is our fest which will be celebrated for three days where all the students of our college will enjoy on those days and
The library in our college is very spacious and all the students if they get free time then they study some novels in the library and many students study they projects and work on there projects and some of the students will be preparing for exams and internship and it is very peaceful place for exams preparation or to get know about any book it is the best place in our college

What I didn’t like

We don't have a proper playground for our college , we don't have much place to play In sports class so we sit in library and read books
We have many assignments and projects and every day we have home works and we get only one day sports hour that sports hour will be replaced by any subject class which is terrible

Placement Experience:

As our college is one of the top most college so we get very good placements and all the students will be placed in better company And the eligibility criteria for placements is cgpa that should be above 8.5

Remarks:

Vasavi college of engineering is one of the top most college in hyderabad where we can expect good average package Through TSEAMCET rank I got this college that is just a written test and I got 3k rank in eamcet

What I Liked

College,faculty and Infrastrure. Extracurricular activities,clubs ,sports meets

Placement Experience:

Decent placements.With good packages and good number of intake from our college even non CSE departments students are getting placed in good roles and core based companies also recruit good number of students from our college

Remarks:

It is a very decent college,with good faculty and good placements.Many debates group discussion sessions will be conducted..for the communication skills improvement of students.And there are many clubs and very good club activities will be held

An Insider’s perspective

What I Liked

The transparency of everything that’s happening in college.
The active participation of the clubs and constantly trying to get permissions from the principal to host as many events as possible.
The access to resources and the overall academic curriculum set by the college.

What I didn’t like

The faculty is kind of strict and somewhere it limits the exposure of students a little bit.
Though a lot of events keep happening in the college, everyone is not allowed to spectate few events.
Too many subjects and classes go on for a long while.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good. The top companies approaching the campus are Microsoft (30lpa), Amazon(24lpa), GoldmanSacks(20lpa), Cisco(17lpa), ServiceNow(22lpa), Oracle(18lpa), Visa(27lpa) etc. The roles offered by most of these companies are SDE. The highest package of Vasavi till date is 1.32cr offered by Google USA and the average package is 8.5lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 80%. I pan to acquire an internship first in my 3rd year and the maybe pursue Masters either here or abroad as per my parents’ wish. My main focus is on the internship right now.

Remarks:

Vasavi is one of the most celebrated institute here in Telangana. It is one of the top 4 colleges that you can get into through an entrance test named EAMCET. The EAMCET rank cut-off of the college goes really low as I mentioned it is one of the top most colleges. The written round i.e. EAMCET or JEE MAINS is the basis of selection. The cut-off for IT branches when I had joined the college was a rank below 11k if you are enrolling through EAMCET or 94%ile if you are enrolling through JEE MAINS. The college is quite reputed and everyone shower words of praise when I take my college’s name. Before opting for this college, I went through their website, their transparency is what I liked the most. It has great resources and amazing faculty who constantly mentor their students. Vasavi stands out in terms of placements as well. Also the college is very non-commercial. All these criteria made me pick Vasavi and I’m thoroughly enjoying my time here.

A good review

What I Liked

The labs are well maintained and updated with latest softwares. The placements are good and college helps you in getting placements
The faculty give valuable inputs for placements and for projects.

What I didn’t like

The benches are old and the washrooms are bit old and Maintainence can be improved. There isn't much to do in college apart from studies. There is limited time for sports and other club activities. The faculty vary. Some are helpful but some are grumpy.
The faculties(some of them) sometimes hold grudges and may fail you.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement depends on the companies. For low to average pay companies, the minimum cgpa is 6.5 and one or two active backlogs are allowed. For 2nd tier companies and unicorn startups, the minimum cgps is from 7.5-8 and there shldnt be any active backlogs. The highest package this year was 52 LPA and the lowest was 3LPA. About 70percent students are placed. My plan is to get a placement on campus

Remarks:

The factors that made me choose this college was completely due to my rank and lack of better opportunities. I wanted a better branch but couldn't move due to rank. I got into the college through JEE mains.
