College From Student POV

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure of the college it give much more spaces to the students.
The faculties here are also quite good and supportive for the students.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the area where the college is located.
The location is strange as you can't find required things nearby the college

Placement Experience:

There is also good internship opportunities in our college.There is internship programs for every student who is studying in the 7th sem and they had to compulsory to do it and after completing there internship program they are eligible for placement in 8th Sem.

Internships Opportunities:

I don't opted for internship right now but I'm planning for internship in the upcoming semester in next year. Every students get different projects so that they get experienced to it and can do good for the company they will get job in that.

What I Liked

college infrastructure is good and peace place.
Faculty is good and knowledgeable, helps in doubt.
Campus life is normal not more interested.

What I didn’t like

Near the college not any bus-stand and many time not available any autorickshaw.
Drinking problem in summon because many water filter of.
Faculty is good but many rude and not talk properly.

Placement Experience:

if students have greater than 7 CGPA marks than take part in placement. Many famous and local recruiters offers placement. Highest package is 8 lakh in ce. Most of placement in ce,ec and It.In Ce and It 50-70 % placement of students.

MY GENIUNE EXPERIENCE AT GEC GANDHINAGAR

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities is not that good but if the students have skills and enough knowledge to pass the interview so it can crack the highest package. The eligibility criteria is to pass the aptitude test of the company like Infosys,TCS etc and based on that they have been shortlisted for the further process.

Navigating your college life.

What I Liked

My college security staff is very cooperative.
My college cleanliness and neatness is good which makes atmosphere better.

What I didn’t like

Thier are some cracks in building which should be repaired.
Volleyball net and ground should be changed.

Placement Experience:

There is good placement and job opportunities in our college. I'm in first year first semester so I have not much idea about placement and job opportunities and the above information was given after asking my seniors.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for any internship because I'm in first year first semester in this college. As mentioned above the information given by me is after talking to my seniors who have completed thier graduation from my college.

Mediocre college

What I Liked

The curriculum of our college is good, especially for core electronics skills.
The faculty is good as all the professors are supportive and have great knowledge of their subject.

What I didn’t like

The campus Life is not good. It is literally 0.
I don't like the placement. Only few core electronics companies hire from our college.

Placement Experience:

I have talked with the seniors and some professors, and according to them, it is not a good option to rely fully on the campus placements.y professor said that only one or two students are selected for internship in best companies like isro.

Bachelor at GECG

What I Liked

I like the bonding between students and also with faculties as they are all living like a family.
As college is inside the city, so all public transportation is available to reach at the college.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the cleaning process of college as each time the washroom and ground are somewhat dirtyness.
In college, there is no stationary so students have to go out for it which I don't like.

Placement Experience:

The company are coming to take freshers from the beginning of 7th sem only. The company changes criteria of eligibility respectively (most time students must have CGPA greater then 7). There are many companies visiting as I don't name of each. Highest package is 12 lakh per anum and lowest package is 2 lakh per anum and average is 4 lakh per anum in our branch. There are nearby 60% students gets placed and other remains unplaced and for higher studies. I have planned for higher studies.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't done or applied for any university yet but I am looking for it. After placement, company are offering training or internship period, so we don't have to find it. I didn't have any knowledge of it as I didn't do any project or taks.

Life at GEC of GTU

What I Liked

Faculties and students are very familiar with eachother and they have good bonding.
Faculties arranges as well as gives motivation to students to stay calm and push them to acquire their goal.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the canteen as ot does not have various types of food and snackes. In campus there is no stationary so students have to travel for it.
The ground and washroom are generally dirty as it is not cleaned on regular basis. The college os out of town so it is difficult for students using public transportation.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good from the college side. Around 50% of the students get placed by the college. Other students remain unplaced or may go for higher education. The highest package is 12 lakh per anum and average is 4 lakh per anum as per 2023 CSE branch. I decided to go for high studies along with persuing masters together.

Internships Opportunities:

Generally at the time of placement only, company are providing trainings for near 3 months pn based of it. Others than these, there are no other option to enroll for internship from college side. Students have to find it by their own.

Life at GEC-Gandhinagar

What I Liked

Especially I like the bonding between students and faculty over there. The college location as it was out of town.
Bonding between internal students as there was no ragging system and seniors are very familiar and help junior in their difficulties.

What I didn’t like

The canteen don't have variety of food and there is no stationary inside campus so students have to travel for these two.
The college ground and washroom are somewhat dirtyness as they are not cleaned on the regular basis.

Placement Experience:

For eligibility in placement students must have overall 0 backlog and overall CGPA should be greater than 7 out of 10. Other than these students get placed on their performance. As of 2023, highest package was 12 lakh per anum and average was 4 lakh per anum. I have thought to persue master after my bachelor along with doing job if I will get placed.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't yet opted for the internship and companies are offering internship after 7th sem only. If we get placed in 7th sem then directly company will give training otherwise students have to find by their own.

What I Liked

The facility are very supportive and full with the core knowledge of ece field.
The college infrastructure quit good and the campus life is enjoyable

What I didn’t like

The college is located far from the city and for daily up doun students it is very difficult.
In college there is lack of fans and water facility and many more

Placement Experience:

The college provides the internships and placements but there is quite some problem in the placement is that the most of companies are related with the it industry but there less companies for ece core companies

Internships Opportunities:

No I don't have any internship because i will join internship in summer so that i can not give any explanation about it.

Review of GEC, GANDHINAGAR

What I Liked

Actually our college has lush green campus because it was in Gandhinagar city.
College have good scholarship support system for students, all the faculty guide you properly.

What I didn’t like

Actually they have no mess in college so we don't like this.
They don't have 75 percent attendance system so we don't like that.

Placement Experience:

Students have to pass all the exams without any backlog and there is some companys comes with 6 or 7 cgpa need. College never show us their placement data and company but some details you can find on our college's website. I am planning for ME after graduation.

Internships Opportunities:

No actually I haven't opted for any internship, actually we have to do intership in our 3rd year so till now I don't have any internship or stipend. But I have learnt and have done projects from YouTube.
