Ques. Does IMSEC provide internship opportunities?

Ans. Yes, IMSEC Ghaziabad offers internship opportunities across different departments so that students can build practical skills and get industry exposure. The college’s Training and Internship Division (TID) manages both in-house and outside internships. In one such example, the Department of Biotechnology ran a four-week in-house training programme on industrial biotechnology and bioinformatics, where students worked with bioreactors and bioinformatics tools.

Ques. Are there any placement-related events organised by IMSEC?

Ans. IMSEC Ghaziabad conducts several placement activities to prepare students for company recruitment. The Career Development Cell (CDC) holds Pre-Placement Talks with companies such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), helping students understand company expectations and hiring steps. Ques. What are the eligibility criteria for campus placements?

Ans. For campus placements at IMS Engineering College (IMSEC), Ghaziabad, students must meet academic and conduct rules. They should have a minimum cumulative CGPA of 6.5 up to the sixth semester and keep regular attendance, preferably not below 75%. Students also need to register separately for each campus drive they want to join and carry required documents such as the college ID card during recruitment.
