IFET Admission 2026

IFET admissions are offered through merit and entrance-based criteria. BE and B.Tech applicants are selected through TNEA, while ME and MBA admissions are based on TANCET or GATE ranks. Candidates applying for TNEA must complete the application online through Anna University. Management quota admission is also available based on marks secured in intermediate graduation. The application fee is INR 500, while reserved category students pay INR 250, and payment is made through Credit Card or Debit Card.

1. Apply for the relevant entrance or admission process based on the selected program.
2. BE and B.Tech candidates must apply through TNEA and complete the online process through Anna University.
3. ME candidates are selected through TANCET or GATE.
4. MBA candidates are selected through TANCET.
5. Students seeking management quota admission are considered on the basis of intermediate graduation marks.
6. Pay the application fee of INR 500 or INR 250 for reserved category students through Credit Card or Debit Card.

IFET Campus

Advanced Classrooms and Lecture Halls: The classrooms and lecture halls are furnished and equipped with LCD projectors, OHP projectors, screens, and green boards.

Laboratories: The laboratories have the required equipment for research activities. Specialised lab assistants supervise safety measures in the labs.

Seminar Halls: The college has fully air-conditioned and spacious seminar halls with a seating capacity of 500 and modern facilities.

Central Library: The library has access to 40,000 and more books authored by national and international writers. The digital library gives access to previous years' university question papers, student project reports, and staff research publications in electronic format.

Transportation: Along with local transport facilities, students can use the bus service arranged by the college administration. The college has hired 30 buses to pick up students from different locations.

Cafeteria: A well-furnished and spacious canteen operates on campus for students and staff. The canteen serves hygienic snacks, tea, and lunch items.

IFET Hostel

IFET provides hostel accommodation for students, with separate hostel buildings for boys and girls inside the campus. All hostel buildings have 24/7 WiFi internet connectivity, a recreation hall, a gym, and a game room. The girls' hostel has special 24/7 security. Laundry service is also available to students at nominal charges. The annual hostel fee is INR 55,000.
