Reserved category candidates require 45%. For lateral entry, candidates should have passed a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration under the 10+2+3 pattern in BCA or B.Sc. (IT / Computer Science) with 50% marks.

MEC Villupuram Admission

Admission to B.E. and B.Tech programmes at MEC Villupuram is based on TNEA scores. For postgraduate programmes such as M.Tech, MBA and MCA, candidates must appear for TANCET to be eligible, and selection is made through counselling based on TANCET scores.

Library: The central library has 38,550 volumes in technical, Humanities, Sciences and related fields, along with subscriptions to more than 266 National and International Journals. For differently abled students, it includes an Audio-Visual section with video cassettes and CDs, along with bar-coding and internet connectivity. Reprographic facilities are available. Apart from the central library, every department has its own departmental library with text and study material prescribed by Anna University for the respective department.
