Journey to Ahmedabad University

What I Liked

Ahmedabad University has good infrastructure with all the facilities available within the campus.
The campus life is great with different events taking place every Wednesday.

What I didn’t like

The attendance policy is not that good student has to maintain a min of 75% throughout the course.
Very strict rules to take entry in the campus.

Placement Experience:

The highest package was 13.38 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA and the average was around 6.2 LPA for the placement cycle 2025. Almost 90% of the student got placed from the campus placement. The companies came for the placement where Infocusp, Shipments, Quicko, IQM, PlayPower Labs, Future First, Tatvic, Genuin, Immersfy etc.

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for any internship during summer break but university's career development centre (CDC) help in getting the internships for the students who have opted for internship. The companies that came for the internship was IG Drones, Quicko, Biznovare, Next Block Tech etc.

Liberal education.

What I Liked

One this I really like about my college is that it offers 24/7 library services and also the main campus is accessible at night time if anyone wants to do work.
The campus is very well maintained and beside that it is a liberal campus that means it respects everyone‘s privacy and therefore classrooms don’t have CCTV cameras.

What I didn’t like

Faculty members of the university are kind of average and not that good in teaching things.
Sometimes it feels tiresome to work with faculties.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placements they are not as high as other reputed engineering colleges as most of the students like to proceed for further studies but I would that placements are not bad either, average placement is around 6-7 Lakhs per annum and highest goes about 13-14Lakhs per annum.

Internships Opportunities:

I am a 2nd year student so being a undergrad I haven’t opted for any internships this year, I have been doing a workshop through Indo-german tool room located in Ahmedabad, and will be opting for internship from the next year.
