The reason I opt for the BCom course is because since I started my commerce education journey I become more interested in the accounting and finance field and now I look forward learning more about these. Faculties in Ahmedabad University is well qualified from well- renowned universities of India and also from abroad with relatively years of experience in their own field and their teaching method just not involves books and presentations, but they focus on connecting the topics with the real-life situations for a deep understanding using their practical knowledge. In the first year of the course as university also have some foundation courses due to which it has three times exams in the in the first year and it continues with two times exams from onward the second year. The level of the exam is quite challenging. You need regular study to score good in the exams. Studying one day before exam would not work here.

It is quite interesting, there are some courses that are core to your programme, that you have to compulsory enrol to it, also there are cources that are electives which you can opt by your choice, I think that gives liberty to the students to choose in accordance to their interest. Also, it's the best way for students convenience as you can set when you want to study what cources in any of the semesters, you can event opt for which faculty you want to study in. We do it through online course registration through our university portal. The faculty have deep knowledge in their areas, one of the faculty i encountered in my foundation programme has done her PhD from University of Chicago, which showcases that the university supports research based teaching and talent for their faculty and students.

The academic facilities were good, but the system is so strict that it does not allow a student to be even 10% lenient for the course on a bachelor level, which does not require so much rigour. They expect bachelor level students to have PhD student level, knowledge, and research ability skills. Some of the courses were really good and thought provoking while the others were useless time, consuming unnecessarily strict and gave a lot of mental pressure to the students. It has a 80% attendance criteria and even medical leave is not included in that 80% when I was a student. In a normal subject, five leaves, we can take for the whole semester, even if I’m sick or have a fracture or any challenge. I have to use up to only five leaves if I take more than that, then I will get an NP, which means not passed. This is utterly strict and gives a lot of pressure to the student to attend the class when he or she is not able to.

For BTECH Computer Science , we need to complete 146 credits in 4 years. There are many different types of courses like 1. Major Core: Major core are the mandatory courses that a student needs to take for their chosen major. For ex my major is CSE , my major courses are Data Structures, Computer programming, etc. 2. Major Elective : Major Electives are the courses one can take after the 2nd year for their specific branch in their major in which they want to focus more and shape their career in that direction. 3. GER: Total 10 GER courses are need to be done throughout 4 years, which includes courses from different majors like biology, Performing Visual Arts, Mathematics, Data Science, Humanities and Languages. As one student should have basic knowledge of all this fields 3. Minor: A student can do minor in any other major other than he is pursuing in which he needs to complete 6 courses in order to complete minor. The exams are difficult to score good marks.

Curriculum and course faculties are nice the main issue is the administration of the entire college the faculties put in a lot of efforts and a lot of thought into designing the curriculum but due to the administration of the entire college overall it becomes very difficult for the faculty as well as the students to keep up with the new things that are being thought in the university

I chose psychology because I was always interested in it. In this university the psychological faculty is Amazing, not just because of their academic achievements but their way of teaching is also different. The course material used are usually books that are well known along with classical and modern research papers. Research is A BIG and one of the MOST IMPORTANT part of this university. Our evaluation is heavily dependent on the research projects that we submit. The faculty here are mostly graduates from IIT Gandhinagar with a background in cognitive science along with people who have worked multiple years in hospitals as clinical psychologist and counselors. They have years of both teaching, practical and research experience.

We have to select the course by our choice and each course have diffrent element to pass then we have mid Term exams and end term exam we have option to choose summer semester also happen after 4 month college run only 9 month

I have a great interest in maths and problem solving and that is the reason I choose the course Computer Science Engineering in AU. The faculties here are very supportive and most of them are IIT graduates, they encourges us to ask as many doubts so that we can clear our concepts and understand properly, their teaching method is very well planned and we literally understand what they want us to understand. The exams are such like we have quizzes, mid terms and end term. In some subjects we do have open book test but with open book it comes the more difficulty level else in closed book examination the difficulty level is pretty easy.

Teaching method is hand on, interactive, and engaging. there is a flexibility in your schedule too. the facalty is highly qualified most have PHDs from indian and abroad institutions that are highly renowned. there is constant mentorship and guidance available with office hours and continuous assessments with mid terms, end terms, quizes assignment and class participation being marked. difficulty is moderate to challenging

I have been interested in the CSE course since grade 11th, so I chose this course. Talking about the faculties, they are specialized in their work and they have a thorough knowledge of what they are teaching. The term exams occurred timely. The mid-term exams were after 1 or 2 months the sem started and the end sem exams are in the 5th month of the sem. Talking about the FEES, in the 1st year, we had 320000. In the second year, we had 343000. This is about a 10% increase, and yes, the fees will increase around this much yearly. We have a system of having a Total of 4 CGPA/SGPA, so if you score more than 3.5, you can get a full waiver for a tuition fee, and many other types of scholarships are mentioned on the website.
