- The thing I like the most about this college is faculty here is very approachable. You can just connect them very easily. The faculty here is research oriented who believes in putting their knowledge and skills in the real world.
- The classrooms at Ahmedabad university are equipped with modern teaching tools including Smartboards, Projectos AV systems to enhance experience of learning. The Layout of the classroom is designed to facilitate group discussions, student engagement and collaborative learning. The campus features well design auditorium and halls with audio-visual technology for events. The basis of the university's building is to promote sustainability, so they are built in such manner and university has also received certificates for its sustainability responsibility.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college is the environment where this college exists and its liberal education policy which means as I am a commerce student I can also study biology with it. So, this was one wonderful thing which interested me to join this college. Admission process includes filling the application in which one is required to write Statement of purposes, and it continues with an interview process which can be either offline or online depending on the availability of learner.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I opt for the BCom course is because since I started my commerce education journey I become more interested in the accounting and finance field and now I look forward learning more about these. Faculties in Ahmedabad University is well qualified from well- renowned universities of India and also from abroad with relatively years of experience in their own field and their teaching method just not involves books and presentations, but they focus on connecting the topics with the real-life situations for a deep understanding using their practical knowledge. In the first year of the course as university also have some foundation courses due to which it has three times exams in the in the first year and it continues with two times exams from onward the second year. The level of the exam is quite challenging. You need regular study to score good in the exams. Studying one day before exam would not work here.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet but yes, I am looking forward for internships and had applied in many for the summer internships program. Yes, internships within our college are also available for many domains as in research, and as per courses and as university's requirements.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is to maintain at least an CGPA or above. Some companies may have specific requirements. Most companies expect students to have completed internships during the course of study. Ahmedabad University attracts recruiters from a wide range of sector. Some of top recruiters which regularly visits the campus includes Google, Microsoft Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, HUL etc. The highest package recorder is around 22-24 lakhs, and average package is between 6-12 lakhs depending on the students' field of study. The placement rate at Ahmedabad university is very high with around 85-905 eligible students getting placed every year. My plan after getting degree is too complete my master's degree from abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the One semester for B.COM course is 2,30,000 for one semester for the academic year 2024-25 and it is subjected to an increase of 6 to 9 % to account for inflation and other operational expenses. So, the typical B.com course would course 2300000*8=18400000 and accounting inflation this may end up as 2000000 INR. Yes, university offers scholarship which is Merit based, Need based and also provide scholarships for the specific programs.
Campus Life :
Life at Ahmedabad university is very Vibrant and dynamic offering a rich campus experience focused on academic excellence, extracurricular activities and holistic development. The University's diverse student body ensures a lively mix of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives making the campus an ideal environment for fostering new ideas and friendship. The University Library has a good collection of books and is also associated with the library of IIM Ahmedabad it means any student from university has access to IIM's library which is good in itself. The University offers facilities for sports like Basketball, football, volleyball, cricket table tennis, squash, and many other sports. University has many clubs which is itself run by student s and includes Robotic club, cultural club, literary society, entrepreneurship cell offering opportunities for leadership, manangemnent and collaboration.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality is very standard here in the hostel as it is cooked in university itself and is then brought to the hostel. The food menu consists of south Indian dishes with Italian food and our desi Indian cuisine with sweets twice weekly. To opt for the hostel, it is asked while filling the application form and its fees for one-year approx. 175000 (if rewarded with scholarship then zero) which includes stay, food, shuttle services from and to the university, laundry services, electricity, water and cleaning services, free Wi-Fi. If you do not choose for the hostel option while filling out the application form you can get easily PG or a room on a rent on nearby University itself in the same price.

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
