I got the reference from my mom only, as she used to teach there as a visiting faculty. Firstly my plan was to study law from one of the national law universities but that didn't work out and I thing Ahmedabad University is one of the best educational universities in the city Ahmedabad. Hence, it was in my backup plan. The admission system is pretty straightforward, firstly there is an academic cutoff, in my time it was 75% (12th boards), than you have to submit an online application, which includes your past academic and extracurricular achievements, statement of purpose, followed by a personal interview.
It is quite interesting, there are some courses that are core to your programme, that you have to compulsory enrol to it, also there are cources that are electives which you can opt by your choice, I think that gives liberty to the students to choose in accordance to their interest. Also, it's the best way for students convenience as you can set when you want to study what cources in any of the semesters, you can event opt for which faculty you want to study in. We do it through online course registration through our university portal. The faculty have deep knowledge in their areas, one of the faculty i encountered in my foundation programme has done her PhD from University of Chicago, which showcases that the university supports research based teaching and talent for their faculty and students.
The internship duration is mainly for 3 months, whch is generally held in our summer 3 month break. The college provides us with one internship, that is compulsory for our programme, for this purpose we have to communicate with the center of development team for the same.
It is pretty descent, I am yet to apply for the internship from the college. But from what I heard from my seniors that it is quite descent. We have seperate department for placement and internship, names as center for development, even I have seen few of the companies name from the previous year placement report which were, amazon, infosys, flipkart, torrent power, Oswal finances, etc.
So my tution fees for the very first year was 420,000, which was increased by approximately 10%, making it the total of 4,60,000 for the second year. The university's policy states that there will be annual increase of 10% for the fees, hence it might reach near 5 lakhs per annum for the upcoming years. Also the university provides merit and need based scholarships, which can go upto 25 to 50% fees waiver for students who are eligible for.
We have approximately 25 clubs in our campus, from entrepreneurship to design, we have clubs in almost most areas, the university also gives full liberty to form a new club, only thing we have to do is to pitch our idea to them. Every Wednesday second half is reserved for clubs events. We have flagship events for every club, like anantmela for social service club, factory visits for entrepreneurs club and many more. We have 2 libraries and 2 grand study rooms with individual cubicals for students to accelerate their studies. Even our central library is open for 24*7.
I have not opted for hostel, but I have little info from what I got from my friends who have opted for. The infrastructure is pretty descent, they have good options in terms of room sharing as they have single, double and triple sharing as well. Also the fact that the hostel that I am talking about has a tie-up with the university (name of the hostel is FLH). You can even explore it in Instagram as they are having their account names as FLH Ahmedabad.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.
Good placements after masters and bachelor’s the support is full from the institution and the companies come to collage and interview us and the placement are 90% and above with the good package expecting
All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.
Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.
I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
