For placements you should have over 3.2 CGPA atleast and for good placements over 3.5. We don't have a lot of good/big companies coming for placements. If your goal is to get placement after bachelors this is not the college that you should opt for however if you plan to stay in academia for longer to do research/PhD then this is a good university. I was able to secure good research internships because of the AU faculty's connections. I plan to go into research and do a PhD so I think this university is providing me with a very strong base for it. If your goal is to become a researcher this is the place to go to.

Eligibility criteria for placement is to maintain at least an CGPA or above. Some companies may have specific requirements. Most companies expect students to have completed internships during the course of study. Ahmedabad University attracts recruiters from a wide range of sector. Some of top recruiters which regularly visits the campus includes Google, Microsoft Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, HUL etc. The highest package recorder is around 22-24 lakhs, and average package is between 6-12 lakhs depending on the students' field of study. The placement rate at Ahmedabad university is very high with around 85-905 eligible students getting placed every year. My plan after getting degree is too complete my master's degree from abroad.

It is pretty descent, I am yet to apply for the internship from the college. But from what I heard from my seniors that it is quite descent. We have seperate department for placement and internship, names as center for development, even I have seen few of the companies name from the previous year placement report which were, amazon, infosys, flipkart, torrent power, Oswal finances, etc.

Placement are really great in the university with the average placement of 10 lacs that is of last year. There is no such eligibility criteria as any 4th year student can sit in the placement cell. Few companies such as google, flipcart visits AU every year. And around 100-120 offeres are made out of 150 students.The highest package went up to 46 lacs last year per year. This year till now as the placements are still going, the highest offer was made of 20 lacs and there are few students who accepted the 12 lacs per annum package. Every year around 70%. I also might go for the campus placements and if no placement is offered than there are options for the placements outside the university.

there is a work study program that pays a 100rs an hour for students, internship is provided and placements are also good with avg 9L, 85 to 90% placement rate. I want to work for a year and then peruse higher studies.
